Why I hate religion but love God

There is always that stereotypical religious person that acts all sweet but as soon as they see you as a sinner or as an atheist they don't want anything to do with you, right?

What did Jesus do when he came to Earth? He was with the sinners, he helped guide them. Isn't that supposed to be our jobs as Christian, or Jewish, or Catholic, or whatever religion you are. To try to help guide people in the right direction?
