Promises

-Matt's Pov-

It's been two weeks since I said that to Jane. In all seriousness I feel terrible about it. I did not mean to hurt her. Just seeing her face when I said that broke me. I don't know why I did that. Ugh!! I'm so stupid sometimes... Wait no all the time!!

I had to do something about this I can just sit here doing nothing. I have to go to her and make sure she is safe!!

I jumped out of bed and threw on a red and black flannel, tan pants, a pair of boots and a chain.
I quickly got in my 2005 ford truck and drove to her house.

~skip car ride~
When I finally got to her house I jumped out of my car and ran to the side of her house. Knowing she would not answer the door if she knew it was me I went to her sundown and claimed through it

When I got into her room I looked around and saw nothing. Pictures where taken down all her clothes where gone her makeup... Everything.

I started to run around the house screaming her name to see if she was there

"JANE!?!?... WHERE ARE YOU!?!?"
I waited for a response but heard nothing.

I went back into her room and sat in her bed heading something crumble under me. I got up and found a note and read it out loud

"I'm sorry guys... when you ready this I am already gone. I don't know where I am going but I had to leave. I can't take it here anymore. With the bullying, with Nash not helping me with anything and just worrying about Matt, with Matt in general... I just can't do it anymore... I'm sorry and just don't come looking for me I need to do this for me and for everyone... Now this is me saying have a nice life my loves... Good bye

By the end of ready I was braking down in tears. I know it's not manly to cry but everyone does.

  I was the reason she left... I hurt her so bad she ran away... But she promised

~flashback to when they where 6~

"Aww Matt don't cry"
She hugged me tightly
"But I don't want you to leave me... You are my best friend and I love you"
she pulled away and looked me in the eyes
  " no matter what happens Matt I will always love you and never leave"
  She smiles big witch made me smile because when she smiles I know she is happy
  "Promise?"
I said in a uneasy voice
  " I promise"
  With that me and her shared our first kiss... I know we are young but still... I knew I felt something And I know I still do.

" You promised that you'd never leave me... Where are you now?"

  I said out loud to myself in this now empty room. I laid down on her bed inhaling her sent that was still there. I could not focus all I could think was...

  " what have you done Matt?"
