The Snow turned into black ice as a large amount of rain fell from the sky and still is, It's 6:48 in the morning and I got a text from Gavin,
" I don't feel so well today. "
" Then don't come to school stupid "
" No."
" Just Lay down for a second. "
" Alright, I will see you later "
" You Betcha!"
As you walk to school you wonder if Gavin's going to be alright?
I Finally got to science to see Gavin, and he sits there as he reads the Diary of Anne frank, Mr.Kim comes out from the lab and tells the class they will be doing a lab experiment using 7 different types of chemicals, there were so many diverse types that I couldn't name them all,
" Listen up kids, theses are not to be touched without the proper equipment..." Mr. Kim babbled,
" Hey, so you feeling alright ", as I lean against Elta, " Yeah I'm sure I'm fine I just got a headache in the morning ", glad you're feeling better", I smiled.
Mr. Kim finally stopped speaking and told us to choose lab partners I wanted to go with Ellie, but she purposely grabbed a hold of Sandra and laughed " oh, looks like you and Elta are meant to be!",
"SHUT UP" I glared.
Elta and I walked over to set up the lab When I settled the Bunsen burner I turned back to see Elta grabbing 7 test tubes filled with unknown chemicals, he hinted that he was fine so I let him be, we did what we were told and things went by quickly and it was time to dispose of the chemicals and there was a special drain for that and you had to pour them down separately, I guess Elta didn't hear that part, the split second that I saw him attempt to pour them at the same time, I reflexes immediately pushed him across the sink, but while I stood there I looked down the compounds were combining and it created a fume cloud, my lungs were on fire, my diaphragm was being beaten and the next thing I know I'm in agony and can't breathe on the ground, as I rapidly try and gasp for air I can see Mr. Kim turning on the vacuum vents, Elta runs over, it's blurry but I made what he said, " Oh dear Jesus I'm so sorry, can you hear me, No, No, NO, please stay with me okay, Jin look at me, JIN!" All I could squeeze from my throat was, " E-lta " and the next thing I know everything's black,but I'm not afraid of the darkness, because I know Elta is right next to me.
