You came like a thunderstorm,
Unsolicited, and abruptly gone!
How could I possibly keep you out of my mind ??
For you were the sugar in my tasteless life.
The passionate love and hugs we shared,
My laudable soul, now left uncared.
Now I'm empty, conducted by strife,
For you were the sugar in my tasteless life.
The first monsoons, the ecstatic rainbows;
I came to you tagged 'use and throw'!
Perhaps my love was way too blind,
For you were the sugar in my tasteless life.
The first eye lock, the first long drive,
All these 'firsts' now make me cry.
The ardor of my tears, probably unseen by your eyes;
For you were the sugar in my tasteless life.
