2.Time for some questions

As Nat contacted various friends, she sent multiple different pictures of her tail and ears because, some thought she was lying about the situation her and her friends that "shall remain unknown" were in. She only found herself with the same suggestions. Her friends suggested that they "could have been born with the gene". She thought it could have been a possible gene mutation that randomly decided to show its self. That seemed unlikely because they would have had the same gene resulting in them being the same animal. Maybe it was just a slight variation to the gene. Some suggested that it could have also been a controlled experiment with some animals or food. Then again even that seemed a little off and slightly out there. She had decided to send Natari a message on Tumblr telling her what she had found and thought about the possible causes of this new found' issue'.

'Hey trix bunny I have some possible explanations to what the hell could be happening to us.'

About 5 minutes later she had gotten a reply from Natari.

"1. Fuck off Sylvester. 2. What are those explanations?"

The response made Nat laugh slightly Harder than she should have and roll her eyes at the same time. After she had calmed enough she had sent her theories that made enough sense to even be considered a possibility.

I had been sitting in my French two class with a blank stare pointed at a wall. When my phone had made a slight buzz and vibrated in my shirt pocket. Which meant I had to be very sneaky and check, Nat had sent a message on Tumblr that was the cause of the phone buzzing in my pocket.

'Hey trix bunny I have some possible explanations to what the hell could be happening to us.'

The message had caused my new found ears to twitch in irritation. Regardless of how irritating it was to be called the bunny from a cereal, I responded quickly.

"1. Fuck off Sylvester. 2.What are those explanations?"

Within minutes she had all of the explanations that made the most sense. Natari was starting to get a slight ache in her ears and decided to excuse herself to the bathroom. Once alone she took her bandana off and let her ears stretch. She knew she couldn't keep doing this after every class. She didn't really care what others thought, she didn't want the attention but she had to take care of her ears first. She also took her jacket off and pulled out a small blue bristle brush. She used it to brush her tail and ears and put her hair into a bun, folding the blue Bandana and wrapped it around her head making a small bow with it. She Walked into the class the teacher looked at her down his nose, clearly unhappy with her changed appearance.

"Take off the ears Ms.Gilbert. " he said pointedly at her. Which made her angry.

" The ears on top of my head are not able to come off sir." She pulled on them to get her point acrossed, she winced while pulling them. She sat back down, sighing softly and felt the stares as she worked quietly on the activity that was assigned. Now she was able to focus better without the dull ache in her ears. Once the bell rang she almost broke into a sprint to her next class. She thought about asking her health teacher, Mrs.O'Neill what could be another reason this had happened. Which she decided against mainly because she couldn't do it. She was scared of the answer she might get. Voden walked by and he looked even more shocked than the students in her previous class. Deciding to walk out to him, once out there she wrapped her arms tightly around him.

"My ears started to hurt and I can't exactly focus when there's a dull ache in my head. Any way Batman, how are your wings feeling?" She asked looking up at him, concern washing over her features.

Voden shrugged slightly and held her tightly against him " They feel like they could use a stretch but it's nothing I can't handle Atari " he lifted one hand and brushed his thumb softly across her cheek.

"Don't worry so much babe, I promise I'll be okay." He kissed her cheek gently and smiled down at her.

Natari grinned and hugged him tightly.

" It feels so freeing to not have to hide and or cover them babe." She kissed him softly, they quickly said their goodbyes and separated going to their classed before the bell rang.

After her third period she had decided to check in on how everyone else was doing, which some looked like they were relieved to have to not hide anymore. The rest how ever not so much. But even after they all shown off their new features they couldn't seem to sit or find any position comfortable. Those that had tails anyway.
