Chapter 2- The Flyer
BEEP! BEEP! My alarm was louder than usual. I woke up ready to throw a pillow at it if it didn't stop. Thankfully it did. I threw on the same clothing I wore yesterday hoping no one would notice.
"Crap," I said as I stepped on my binder. The pages for my report that were due today flew out. I slowly put them back in hoping they would stay. I then threw my binder in my bag, and then walked out of the room. I had to get to school early to help clean the bathrooms as a punishment for sneaking out yesterday.
I threw some cereal in a ziploc baggie, and ran outside. It was pouring rain, so I went back inside to grab an umbrella. Once I finally got out of the trailer park it had stop raining, werid. As I kept walking to school I saw a flyer for a beauty pageant, and the prize said $500. I gasped and grabbed the flyer looking at the address:
2045 Leekling Drive
Chicago, Illinois 33300
(AN: This is not a real address)
I threw the flyer in my bag, and kept walking to school. I would go visit the address at the end of the day. Maybe I could sign up to earn my family money, so we could get out of that trailer park. I shook my head, and looked up as it began to rain again.
