They all left the old abandoned mansion. They weren't stopped. They weren't killed by the demons that resided there. The second Beth stepped out she noticed it had become cold and the sun was setting. She thought she hadn't been gone that long.
Emily was the next to leave the old porch behind. She stepped out onto the ground and heard the leaves crunch under her feet and felt the last rays of sun on her face. She gazed down at Beth and cackled. Beth was puzzled. Looked at Emily and new something was wrong. She leapt over to grab Kate but Kate backed away from her.
Emily continued her evil maniacal laugh as Beth fell to the ground. "Thank you my dear Beth for freeing me from my prison and my dear, dear friends.", said Emily with a smirk on her face. Emily raised her arms up and let out a ear splitting scream. Beth covered her ears but Kate just stood there staring up at her aunt.
What was wrong with Kate, thought Beth. Only then had Beth noticed Kate's pale complexion as if she had seen a ghost. Beth sat up and noticed the door to the house swung open. She saw a young girl come out of it and many more filed out after her. They all matched towards them and stopped a few feet in front of them.
Emily finally stopped screaming and spoke to the monsters. "Today, my fellow demons, we will destroy those who need to be killed for their wrong doing. We will kill the people that sentenced us to that life, the life where we were imprisoned in an old worn down mansion. We will no longer hide in the shadows! We will fight those that stand in our way of the sun! We will finally be the majority not the minority! We will finally live again in the sun!", Emily screamed.
Beth looked down at Kate. Kate looked up at her. Beth was expecting Kate to grab her hand and run but instead she just stared. A stare that soon was overtook by hunger. Beth stared down at Kate in horror. She was horrified to what had happened to Kate. Kate had become one of them.
