Beth looked down at her baby sister in horror. Kate walked up to her and spoke to her in a language Beth had never heard. Kate raised up her arms and screamed. Beth ran over to Emily and screamed,"what have you done to her? Why are you doing this? Please, leave her alone, please. I'll let you uses me but please let her go!". Beth had to scream over her sister.

Emily glared down at Beth. "My sweet niece there is nothing wrong with your sister, she has simply chosen the right side of this little war. You could join me if you wish, live forever and never have to experience pain or heartbreak again. Come on Beth join us and become superior." Emily replied in a voice sweet as silk yet deadly as a knife.

"Never". Replied Beth. Emily stared at her with those cold, heartless eyes and responded, "fine then I guess I'll have to end this now". Just as Emily finished her sentence she lunged towards Beth, grabbing onto her leg and ripped it open. Blood stated to gush and spurt from the wound. Beth screamed in pain, she fell and grabbed her calf. Her hands covers I blood. She was concentrating on her lacerated leg so much that she didn't notice the deons closing in on her.

Beth glanced up just in time to see she was surrounded and Emily hovering over her. Emily let out a smug little laugh. She glared at her niece, her own flesh and blood. She kneeled down and lifted a finger to Beth face. She slid her long sharp nail across her cheek and took Beth's head in her hand. "I will kill next time and as a reminded that you are never safe I leave you with this bloody mark upon your cheek.", Emily said. Emily left Beth that day with a long, jagged scar and an empty, forlorn heart. Beth would be forever empty because her sister was gone.
