Chapter Thirteen

The next day, I decided to text Evan and ask him to meet me for lunch.

"So, what do you have to think about?" Evan asked me as he took a bite of his sandwich.

We were sitting in Subway, Evan told me it was his favourite place to eat.

"Do I want to go further with Ruby or not" I sighed. I've been thinking too much about this.

"Well..she likes you and you like her so what's the big deal?"

"I don't know I just..I don't know if she'll be good for me, you know?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"She's kind of a bad influence" I rubbed my face with my hands in frustration.

"How?"

"She smokes, drinks, i'm pretty sure she does drugs sometimes, skips classes when she wants. I don't know, i'm just worried i'll turn out like that" I explained.

"Well, you don't actually know about the drug thing, you just assume, which you shouldn't. And you don't have to turn out like anybody that you don't want to be. I think you should just try it out with her and see" He smiled at me.

I thought about it for a minute. Should I? Maybe I could try it out with her - like Evan said - and see how it goes. If she tries to turn me into something i'm not though, I'll just end it there.

I smiled at Evan "Yeah, I'll tell her that we can try"

He grinned back "Woohoo! Now go tell her!"

"Well she's not in today but i'll tell her next time I see her. But thanks for helping Evan" I got up and hugged him.

"No worries. Always happy to help"

It was midnight and I couldn't sleep.

I'm so nervous to tell Ruby. I hope she is willing to try it out too.

Well, why wouldn't she? We have the same feelings towards each other, of course.

I sighed and checked my phone. No new messages. No new calls.

Great, I have no friends.

I scrolled through tumblr for a few minutes, but it turned out to be a few hours (me af ha) and realised it was 2am.

Shit.

I have Uni tomorrow.

I turned off my phone and shoved my face in my pillow. Letting sleep take over me.

Realllllly short chapter but the next one will make up for that ;))) (hopefully)

can you guys please read my Luke Hemmings story cause it only has 3 reads and thats kinda sad lel.
