*Zonas POV*
The train finally stopped at an empty station, I guess my mum and dad weren't joking about the three mile walk to the village from it. This was where map reading from my bronze Duke of Edinburgh was going to come in handy then, although, we didn't actually use the map and we did get a bus back into town because we were not walking all that way when it was only a twenty minute journey on the bus. There was no one to be seen on the platform, so there was no chance of catching a lift from anyone. Walking it was then.
I wondered if the boy had stayed on the train or not, as I continued to walk the way I assumed was right I decided that he had done. That was until I heard the sound of a car, which actually turned out to be the boy on a moped. He slowed down as he approached me, obviously to make sure I wasn't a cereal killer or anything. He eventually stopped next to me and looked me up and down, before raising the visor on his helmet.
"Where are you going?" He asked, questioning my massive suitcaseand most probably the fact that I was walking along the side of a road in the middle of nowhere.
"I honestly have no idea," I replied "I'm supposed to be visiting my Great Aunt and Uncle, well going there and living with them for the rest of the year."
"Wait, are you Zora Holmes?"
"Well it's Zona but yes I am. How do you know who I am?" I questioned, angling my head to get a better look of his face
"I'm Zachary, well, Zach, I work for your Aunt and Uncle. Jump on, it's five minutes from here love." He smiled, tapping the back seat with his hand, well I assumed he smiled, his eyes looked as if they were smiling. I looked down at my suitcase and sighed, yes, of course I would be able to get on the back of a tiny moped with a suitcase bigger than my existence.
"What about my suitcase?" I asked, trying not to sound rude
"Give it to me, I'll tie it on the back." He picked it up both ease and sat it onto a grid behind the seat, before he fished into his jacket pocket and pulled out a long string of rope. "It's always necessary to have rope in your pocket, never know when you'll need it." He added, before he checked that my suitcase was tightly secure and wasn't going to fall off the back of his bike.
I assumed I wasn't going to get a helmet so I carefully slid onto the back of the bike and waited for him to get on in front of me.
"You didn't think you'd let me take you without a helmet, did you?" He laughed as he took his off and handed it to me "I would be shot on the spot if I pulled up on your drive without having a helmet for you." He did smile this time, a cute, goofy smile. I laughed and pulled the helmet on my head, obviously, I was so buzzing for the helmet head when we arrived.
He eventually jumped on and we set off. Honestly, I didn't mind having to wrap my arms around his waist, he was honesty pretty hot. We arrived at the village quicker than I had expected, and I somehow had completely forgotten how huge my Aunt and Uncles house was. Fifteen years was a long time.
