Chapter 2

Recap of chapter 1
"Are you Kellen Wolfhound?" He asked."Yes"I said."We have invited you to participate in the 40th annual hunger games"he said."WHAT???!!!!"

"S-so you're inviting me to participate in the hunger games?"I said nervously.

"Yes, we have been watching you very
closely these years Kellen, and we think you are good enough to participate.This year it is going to be a team hunger games."he said."so how many players are goin to participate?"I asked."

"48 players."he said."So it's a team of 2 tournament?"I asked. "Yes, u can choose whoever you want to be teamed up with or you can randomly be choosed with someone.You will be transported to the arena.We are going to pick you up in 20 minutes. So be ready."he said."Ok" I said." Oh yes and I almost forgot to tell you that you can bring a item of your choice, so choose carefully"he said."

Hmmm, ok thank you and see you later" I said. Then he shut the door and left."well....This is a weird day"I said.

So I have to bring 6 items of my choice, hmmm what should I bring? I'll bring my wolf sword. And I'll bring my iPod to listen to music because, why not? And I'll bring extra clothes.

Yeah, that's about everything I need for the match. I walked in the living room and went to the family picture that I had left of to remind me of my family.

In the picture I saw me,my mother Luna who was wearing a white and black dress that day,my father Nile who wore black jeans and a black shirt, and last my big brother Ace.

I really miss you guys, I thought to myself. I will win this for mother, father, and brother.It's been about 6 years since my parents died and my brother disappeared.
                 •FLASHBACK•
Kellen age: 7
Today is my birthday! I'm so excited today! Today my father told me that he's gonna train me on how to use the black wolf sword.

When my brother ace was 7 my parents gave him the white wolf sword. There are 2 types of wolf swords, the white wolf sword and the black wolf sword."Kellen, hurry up and grab your wolf sword, we are going to train!"my father said."coming dad!"I grabbed my sword and followed my dad to the training grounds.

Our training ground was big. At the training grounds there were some dummies that were sliced in half and some there head sliced or chopped off.

Yeah, me and my brother ace train a lot to become stronger. As me and my father arrived at the training ground he grabbed his diamond sword and quickly swung it at me. I easily dodged it and charged at my father. I swung my sword at him and he deflected it with his sword.

Then we both stood still for a good 30 seconds, then I jumped back and charged at him again. When I swing my sword again he dodged it by moving to my left and then he kicked me making me fall. "To fast for you?" He asked. "Nope" I said as I kicked him to make him fall, but he dodged it by jumping.

While he was in the air I jumped and punched him in the stomach making him hit a tree."Am I to fast for you?" I said mockingly." Oh you're gonna get it" he said." Come at me Dad" I said.

Then he charged at me again this time he swung his sword faster then the first few times. Damn he's fast.

But thankfully I clashed it with my sword, which making a weird noise.

Then we kept clashing our swords over and over and over. Then right as my dad swung his sword again I moved to his right and clashed my sword to his with full power, which making him dropping his sword.

Then I kicked him and then he fell. After that I pointed my sword at him. "Give up?" I asked." You finally beat me Kellen. I'm proud of you" he said. "Thanks dad. I learned from the best"I said." Ok. Now let's go home and eat, I'm starving" said my father." Me to" I said back.

While we were heading home we heard a scream." What was that?" I asked." That sounded like your mother!" He said. We rushed home to find my brother fighting a man in a black sour with a smiley face mask on. And next to my brother we saw my mother lying on the floor in a pool of blood.

She looked lifeless." LUNA" my father said. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER?!!" Said my father." Me? Oh nothing much, I just stabbed her in the heart and chest. Nothing personal" he said in a low voice." NOTHING PERSONAL?!!! YOU JUST KILLED MY WIFE YOU BASTARD!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!" Said my father in a angry voice." ACE!! Let me handle him" said my father now in a calmer but still angry voice." But father he killed mother! What if you die to?" He said. "If I die, then run away with your brother to our vacation house where he won't never find you.

Do u hear me?" He said." Yes father" me and Ace said at the same time." Now RUN!!!" He screamed." You heard him Kellen RUN!! Said Ace.

As we ran out of the house we heard my father screaming in pain." FATHER NOO!!" I screamed." Kellen remember what father said we have to run to our vacation house, the one we go to in the vacation. He won't never find us" Ace said.

As we kept running for a few hourswe found the house in the middle of the forest. "Quick in the house!" Said ace.

As we ran in the house Ace shut the door and locked it. "Ace, I'm scared" I said." Don't worry Kellen if something happens I will protect you." Thanks Ace" I said. " no problem little bro, now let's go to sleep it's already late" Ace said." Ok. Good night Ace" I said." Good night.

               ...THE NEXT DAY...
As I woke up by birds chirping i groaned. I stood up and walked out of my room." Ace, you awake yet?" I asked. No answer." Ace? Aaaaaaaaace"

Still no answer. Goddamnit ace where are you? I checked his room and I didn't see him. Hmm, maybe he's in the kitchen. I went to the kitchen and saw a note. It said
DEAR KELLEN.
I went to find some help. I'll come back later. Don't worry about me little bro I'll make it. You just take care of yourself ok?

Wow he left without telling me... Nice Ace, Nice.

2 years later....
Ace still hasn't come back. I'm worried that something happened to him. It's been two frikkin' years damnit. He missed my 8th and 9th birthday.

2 more years later....
Ok now I really think either Ace left me or he died. I'm so done waiting for him. I'm just gonna live my life thinking that I have no family left and he died a few years ago. Oh well, at least I'm still alive. I'm gonna go eat.

Finally two more years..
Welp, I'm finally 13. I feel nothing to be honest. I'm like a person but no soul.

...Flash back end....
*sigh* "I really miss you guys" as I said when I started to tear up. NO! I will not cry! I am a strong person and I will not be sad about these stupid things. Welp, the dude is gonna be  here any second.

              ...KNOCK KNOCK...
Wow. As I say that he arrives. Welp, here we go... To my probably death. Oh well. Atleast I would die trying right? Haha." Wait! I'm coming" I said. I opened the door and saw the man again." The limousine is in the back" he said." Ok" "So where is the stadium?" I asked.

"It's a surprise" he said. " Aw, no fair" I said. "Life's not fair" he said. Well, someone's pissed today. "Did your boss not give you a raise" I said mockingly.

"Shut it brat. I've heard enough of you. So just shut the hell up until we make it to the stadium" he said in a annoyed voice." Whatever old man" I said.

Now time to go to the hunger games....
