A minecrafter's story

Chapter 6

            Crystal's POV:
I somehow woke up in my bed. 'Huh, I don't remember being in my room. Did Kellen bring me to my room?' I wondered. 'Eh, I'll ask him later.' I took off my clothes and went to the bathroom, or at least I think that's the bathroom.

I opened the door and to my relief it was a bathroom. 'Isn't this a bit small?' I thought. 'Oh well, at least it's something' I thought.

I walked in the shower and turn it on. First, I grabbed the shampoo and poured it on my long hair. Then, I started scrubbing my hair. After I was finished scrubbing I washed it all off.

After I was done I grabbed a towel and dried myself off. Then dried my hair with my towel and wrapped it around my waist and walked to my room.

I opened my bag that I brought and grabbed some jogging pants and a black shirt that I got from my parents.

I put on some shoes and walked out of my room. I walked to the living room where I saw Kellen just eating some cereal while watching some TV. He was wearing instead of his white jacket a dark grey jacket and black jeans. "Good morning," I said. "Good morning, sleepy head," he said. "Did you sleep well?" He asked.

"Yep," I said. "Hey, did you bring me to my room? I don't remember ever going in it last night," I said. "Oh, yeah. You already fell asleep so I thought it would be nice to just carry you to your room," he said. "Aw, thanks man," I said.

"No problemo," he replied. "So, what do we do now?" He asked. "No idea. I think we can just check the place out or something," I said. "Alright," he said.

"When are we gonna leave then?" "I don't know, now maybe?" I said. "Aren't you hungry or something?" He asked. "No, not really. I'll just eat something later," I said. "Alright," he said as he put his bowl away.

We then walked outside and I locked the door. "Which way?" I asked. "Hmm, how about left?" "Alright" I said.

We walked to our left side for a few minutes then we saw a door in front of us. I opened the door and heard people talking and laughing. We walked to the door and Kellen knocked on it.

We heard someone walking to the door and the person opened it. It was the guy in the white jacket that we saw when we got here. He looked at both of us and then smiled creepily and said "Come in!". "Ok," me and Kellen said in unison.

He let us through and we saw a bunch of talking, fighting, eating, drinking and laughing. "We're having a small party to get to know each other before the games begin," said the guy in the white jacket. "My name's Jeff by the way," he said.

"Nice to meet you, Jeff," said Kellen. "My name's Kellen and this is Crystal," he said. "Well, nice to meet you Kellen and Crystal," he said smiling. "Walk around, go talk to some people, make friends, do anything you want," he said. "I heard from some people that your allowed to team with other people at the game. So, you can make like a team of 4 or 5 even," he said.

"But, wouldn't that be a bit unfair to the others?" Kellen asked. "Yeah, but they don't care. All they care about is winning," said Jeff. "Are you in a group Jeff?" I asked him. "No, actually. I came here as a solo player. But to be honest. I wouldn't mind teaming with others," he said.

"Maybe you could team up with us?" Kellen asked. "Sure, why not? The reason why I'm solo is because I didn't have a partner. So yeah, glad to be teamed up with you two," said Jeff.

"Nice! Now we're a 3 team. We're getting stronger with the numbers!" said Kellen excited. "You guys wanna check this place out while I go talk to some people?" Jeff asked. "Sure," I said.

Me and Kellen started walking around the place, and the thing that looked the most interesting was this sort of training room where you could choose what type of training you wanted. Like Archery, you can just press a button to make a hologram And then you'd fight it. You could also fight with your swords or anything else to be honest with you.

Me and Kellen walked to the training room and saw that no one was using it. The training room had to parts, so 2 people could use it att he same time.

"I'm gonna go train with my sword," said Kellen. "Alright, I'll go train with my bow then. I walked to the machine and clicked on the bow for archery training. And I clicked 8 for the amount of bots. 'Hm, it says here what level. I guess I'll just choose level 1' I thought.

"LEVEL 1, BEGIN" said a computer-like woman voice. I grabbed my bow that I had on my back and held it ready. The holograms started spawning and I stood ready. I saw 2 of them already shooting at me. The first arrow I dodged it by jumping backwards doing a backflip. The second arrow was coming from in front of me so a jumped to the side and aimed at the holograms chest. I shot my arrow and it hit the hologram's chest.

I pulled my bow back and ran a bit to the second hologram. I jumped to the side and shot it right at it. It missed. I heard an arrow coming from behind me so I ducked, and the arrow flew right above me, hitting the other hologram, killing it. I quickly turned around and pulled my bow back and shot my arrow at the hologram while jumping backwards. Headshot! 3 down, 5 to go.

I turned my head around to see 3 of the 5 holograms aiming their bow at me. I quickly grabbed 3 arrows and pulled them back. The holograms then shot their arrows all at he same time. I aimed my bow at the hologram I. The middle and said "Triple Arrow Barrage!!!" I shot all 3 of my arrows and they all went flying to their targets.

My arrows cut through the the holograms' arrows and hit all 3 of them at the same time. "I win," I said to the 3 as they started to disappear. "2 more"

I then saw an arrow being shot in front of me and behind me. I quickly reacted by jumping to my right. I looked up and saw the 2 remaining holograms behind each other.

I quickly grabbed and arrow and shot it towards the hologram in the front. The hologram in the front dodged it. "I wasn't aiming for you," I said smirking.

The arrow went flying through the chest of the hologram in the back, making it disappear. The last remaining hologram jumped above me and aimed it bow at me, ready to shoot.

I knew he was going to do it so I quickly grabbed my last arrow and jumped back and shot my arrow towards the hologram, pearling him through its heart. "LEVEL 1 COMPLETED. WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTINUE?" Asked the computer. "No, I had enough for today. How the hell was level one not easy?" I wondered.

I walked to the buttons and saw that their were only 8 levels. "Oh, makes sense now.." I strapped my bow to my back again and walked out of the training room. "Man, that was tiring," I said. "Wonder, if Kellen's finished," I said to myself as I was walking towards The training room Kellen was in.
