A minecrafter's story

Chapter 10

Kellen's POV :

We finally found a fancy looking restaurant. We stood in front of the entrance and then a women came to us.
"Good afternoon kids, would you like to sit somewhere?" She asked. "Yes please," said Jack politely. "Right this way!" She said and we followed her.

The moment we entered I noticed that the place was dark. The only light source it had was candles lit up. Their were candles near the windows, on the tables and at the bar. You could hear a lot of people chatting and laughing. "It smells to much like alcohol," I said with a disgusted face. "Yeah, I hate the smell," said Crystal. "Right this way," said the waitress. She walked over to a long table with 8 chairs.

"Here's a spot you you kids," she said smiling. She handed us menus and asked," what would you like to drink?" "Can I have Sprite?" Asked Jeff. "I'd like some fruit punch," said Mia. "Me to," said Crystal. "Me three," said Ashley while giggling. "Coke please," said Jack. "I'll just have water," said Connor. "Me to," I said. "Alright, coming right up!" She said then walked away, not before winking at Jeff.

"No thanks!!" Screamed Jeff to the lady. She turned around and glared at him and went into the kitchen. We all started laughing loudly.

"Jeff I'm gonna die from laughter because of you," I said while laughing. "Not the first time I've heard that," he replied laughing. "Alright, but seriously guys. What's our game plan?" I asked. "Hm, since we're a team of 7 and that there is a team of 10, yes 10. So that means that there are 7 players left that we don't know," said Jack. "I suggest we should create a formation of our group. Example, Crystal will be in the back, because she uses a bow, me and Connor will be the two in the front and Kellen, Jeff and Ashley should be in the middle and Mia behind them. Sound good?" Asked Jack.

"Maybe the formation could be, Kellen up front, you and Connor behind him, Me and Ash will he behind you two and Crystal and Mia will be in the back," said Jeff. "Let's vote on what formation we should use," said Jeff.

"I say my formation," said Jeff. "I choose Jack's formation," said Mia. "I choose my formation to," said Jack. "Jeff," said Connor. "Jack," said Crystal. "Sorry, but I choose Jeff's formation," said Ashley. "It's all up to Kellen now," said Jeff.

"So, what will it be? Mine, or Jack's?" Asked Jeff. 'Hm, which one should I pick? Both are good in their own way. Wait! I have an idea' I thought to myself. "How about, we do Jeff's formation for a while, then we switch it with Jack's? From time to time we'll switch," I said. "Honestly, that sounds good to me," said Mia.

"Alright," said Jack. "Everyone that thinks we should do both from time to time say "I"," I said. "I," said everyone in unison. "Alright. It's settled then," said Jeff.

After a while a waitress finally came and asked what we would like to eat. "I'd like the salad please," said Connor. "Me to," said Mia and Ashley. "Um, I'd like some spaghetti please," I said. "Same for me," said Jeff and Crystal. "Alright, coming right up!" Said the waitress then left. "The first thing we should do is, we should try to get rid of as many players in the team of 10," said Jack.

' I wonder if I should play serious in this. Hm, I'll keep my true skill a secret for now,' I thought to myself.

------------Minutes later-------------
The waitress brought our food and then left. We all slowly started eating. While waring I was thinking about my fight with Jeff, Jack and Connor's fight and Mia an Ashley's. "I still don't get why Crystal didn't have to fight. Kind of unfair in a way," I muttered. "Don't worry Kellen, I thought you were amazing," whispered Ashley to me.

I blushed a bit and whispered, "Thank you." She smiled sweetly at me and started eating her salad again.

After we were done eating, Jeff was nice enough to pay for everyone's meal. As we were walking out someone bumped into me and we both fell. "Oww," said the person that bumped into me. The person looked like he was eleven years old. "Sorry about that," he said as we both stood up. He was wearing an orange hoodie and black pants. He had two small tiger ears. He had brown eyes, and he had black hair and that the front he had blond hair.

"My name is Simon TigerLight. What's your name?" Asked Simon. "Kellen van Wolfhound. Nice to meet you Simon," I said. "I apologize again, you see, I was running away from my fri-" "SIMON!!" Someone screamed behind us. "There you are. You should really stop running away from me. Didn't I say we weren't playing tag anymore?" Said a guy that looked around  my age walking towards us.

He had a purple hoodie and had combat pants on. He had short black hair and brown eyes and small panda ears. "I'm sorry for my friend bothering you, my name is Wesley by the way, but my friends call me Woco," said Wesley. What took you so long Woco? You're slow as usual," said Simon grinning. "SHUT UP!! You're to fast for an eleven year old," said Wesley. "Nah, you're just to slow for a thirteen year old," said Simon.

"WHY YOU!!" "Hey, don't start a fight," I said trying to get in between them. "Oh, and who are you?" Asked Wesley. "My name is Kellen." "Well, nice to meet ya Kel. And just call me Woco, people barely call me Wesley, except for my family," said Woco. "Alright, Woco," I said.

"Uh, hello? We exist to ya know," said Jeff. "Oh, right. Simon and Woco, meet Jeff, Crystal, Mia, Ashley, Jack and Connor," I said. "Nice to meet y'all," said Woco. "Hello Scrubs," said Simon.

"I may be a scrub, but you're the Scrub Lord," said Jeff. We all snickered at Jeff's joke. "Well played," said Simon. "So, are you two a team?" Asked Ashley. "Yep, it's just that we're trying to make a bigger team," said Simon. "How about joining our team," said Connor. "Really?!" Said Woco. "That would be great!," said Simon.

"But... Aren't we a bit to big of a team?" Said Simon. "Who cares, the more the merrier I say," I said. "Alright then, then we will join your team!" Said Woco happily. "Alright! Let's win the hunger games!" Said Jeff. "When is t going to start again?" Asked Crystal. "I saw on a screen that it was going to start tomorrow," said Simon.

"I wish we had more time to train," I said. 'Even though I'm already ready and I still have to show my true power,' I thought. "Since it's getting pretty late, we should meet up tomorrow. Sound good?" Said Connor. "Sounds good to us," said Simon.

"Ok," said the rest in unison. "Alright then everyone, cya tomorrow morning then," I said as I started walking to the door. "Are you coming Crystal?" I asked her. "Coming!" "Alright see you tomorrow guys," said Woco. "Bye," said the rest as they were walking back to their rooms. Me and Crystal made it to our room and I told her "Hey, I'm gonna go to bed alright?" "Ok, good night," she said. "Good night," I said as I walked into my room.

I took my hoodie off, which made my wolf ears pop out. I walked in my bathroom and brushed my teeth. After I finished brushing my teeth i jumped on my bed and slowly fell asleep.
