I woke for the second time to the sound of my alarm clock screaming at me to get up I turn it off and look around the room and I notice someone sitting in the corner I focus on them and see it is Alana with Evelin curled up in her lap the looking so natural
"This one we mate," said my beast first time he has spoken in a long time
"That's not up to you and since when did you care usually all I get from you kill and fight" I replied within my mind
"I can do this too," the beast said almost like a child being chastised but I knew better he was no child he is a beast and always will be
"Yes but why her, " I asked he knew as well as I her father would never approve
"You know why," it said and I see flashes of memories I am unable to make out any one of them but the feeling of safety and trust was clear
"Yes" I replied she trusts worth and she had proven the when given the chance she wouldn't stab us in the back
"Now get up and put them in the bed," said beast I walk over to them and Alana starts to steer
"it's okay it's me" I whisper when I pick her up and carry her and Ev to the bed as I am about to leave she catches my arm

I hesitate "okay but only for another hour or two," I say

"Dad will understand," said Alana So I lay back down in bed with Ev in-between us I put my arm over both of them Ev her both shiver they are cold but Alana has already dozed off

"yes I know all right time for me to go" I said I got up and put on a shirt and leave the same way Fellhan did and I walk down the hallway and in to the meeting room where I see Alana's father with a grim face he gestures to me as if to say let's talk in private and we walk into the other room and I close the door behind us
"What is this I hear about you and my daughter?" he asks
"It's true but Miller is making it out to be more then it is," I said shrugging it off
"I like you boy so if you can think of something before I address the other in that room it is all yours," he said so this was on me too fix
"Just roll with what I do," I said hoping I could come up with something
"Okay" we walk back into the other room and stood before the pack miller stood to address the pack but I beat him too it
"I challenge you for your place in the pack," I say there was a general feeling of shock among the pack as unlike most packs we had a fairly stable hierarchy and challenges were a rare occurrence
"What no way I have the stuff to tell alpha this can wait," said Miller now I have you
"What you scared or just weak which one is it" by pack hierarchy rules he fights or he loses his place in the pack
"No you bastard alpha," says Miller he had hoped that the alpha would allow the discussion first but the alpha shook his head
"This can wait the law says you must fight," said alpha and I nodded my head in thanks
"But" Miller began but instantly the weight of the alphas power filled the room and we all felt it some of the lower rank members of the pack we pushed to the floor
"are you questioning me," said the alpha and with that alphas eyes light up in a glow of gold that's what makes alphas like my dad and jack so scary they full control over their appearance and when the gold came out it was done or die
"Fine I will put you in your places Jain then the alpha will hear of this," said Miller and I could hear Fallhen whispering to his son as I turned around and walked to the middle of the room and removed my shirt
"No because whoever wins is the only one who lives that is the law when a challenge is declared in the packed house," said the alpha oh that's just perfect then I sniff the air no I turn on my feet to come face to face with my sister and Alana
"You should go, little girl, cause I am about to take your brothers life," said Miller breaking his attention away from his father for a moment

"Alana take Ev and go back to my room and keep her there,"I tell Alana and for a moment she paused and looks me in the eye as her father's daughter she outranked me so I bowed my head which was submission enough
"Okay," she said smiling letting me know no harm was done

"Go you little mutt your brother is helping you," said Fallon and I turned on him
"Okay what in the fuck did I do to you Fellhan" i said
"You ruined everything I worked to make happened for my son and now he will have his vengeance and this will be settled and will no longer be harassed because of you," said fellhan okay so I am obviously missing some information

"less talk more fight" i said as we both shifted he was a bear he went with full form made sense bear half forms weren't of any use unless they were perfect but I shifted choosing half from feeling skin giving way to chestnut fur and bones melting and reforming it hurt like a hell but once I was done I reared to full height I was tall my legs looked like a lighting bolt which gave me good speed my chest and upper body were massive close to one and a half meters wide and I had a brown and reddish mane but that was nothing compared to a bear they were use as tanks in battle me on the other hand I was just dropped into a battle and started painting a ring of body's my guess was that he would charge which he did I ducked sideways shit that was close he hits me with that charge and I am gone he tried it again this time I charge back but at the last second I hammer fisted him in the top of the head and used the motion to jump over him but he lifted his left paw and smashed me in the leg I heard a church and I knew I was not going to land this I went face first into the wooden floor okay that one hurt I got up on one leg and he turned around and looked at me I needed to make him go into a bear rage
"you know miller i never understood why your father chose you were always the stupidest of his children but the worst part is that it never would have worked your anything but a big dumn broot and she never would have been happy with you but dont worry my sister won't always be there and one day I will make her very happy" I said that started the ball rolling come on go on your hind legs and show me that belly he rowed and charge I dogged "no wonder she didn't want you your too slow for her taste too weak" he reared put onto his hind legs and rowed there me go I went for his belly got a few good cuts in then he hit me with his paw in the head I went with it and spun to his back and grabbed his muzzle and but my good leg under Neath me and pulled and snapped his neck then he fell and I jumped off him then I noticed my head hurt for some reason and then my eye went black that ass had Brocken my suckle how am I standing then my legs wobbled oh we go and I clasped then I saw Alana rust to me and everything went black
"no no no don't you die you son of a bitch I..." that was the last thing I got before I black out
