As we ate we chatted then there was an angry growl from behind us and both jack and I turned on the stools we sat on and there were Revlon and his finale remaining son "I have come for the boy" said Revlon his voice shaking with rage
"and you can have him in two months," said jack standing and Revlon roared
"not fair my boy didn't have any warning," said Revlon his voice vicious
"and your boy hadn't just killed the Callhan brothers then before he was finished recovering killed another challenger so you can wait until he is healed," said jack
"I don't care I wa." Began Revlon but he never finished before Jack had a hand around his throat and had lifted him into the air his eye a golden blaze
"you don't care for my orders well then is that a challengh" asked jack his voise its normal volume but the power of it made the air feel dense and thick and while I was distacted I nearly didn't see revlons son charge too attack jack but I intersepeted him with a shoulder charge that sent him flying through the front window of the Pack house "I suggest you take your remaining son and leave" said jack releasing his vice like grip on revlons throat allowing his fifth to shrink away and retreat only once he had left and he could no longer hear the car that they drove away in did he take his eye off the front door and turn to address me "thanks for the back up cant believe the kid had the stones too try something like that so whats your plan for the next two months because you may have dealt with miller with ease but Revlon is no jock kid he is strong and a talented fighter what your plan" jack asked and I nodded for those words too come from him was proof the threat was real
"I need to go back into training I need a teacher," I said and jack nodded
"well I can show you a few things about fighting bear and you can spar with me if that works for you" said jack but I shook my head and when he realised the plan he sighed "you know how much heat I am going to get from this packs are made up of similar beasts for a reason right?" he said and I nodded to add another lion would cause jack trouble and could weaken his position within the pack
"John was the only other lion my father respected enough to call his equal on the field of battle he could have ruled one of the great packs if he wanted too I need his guidance I know what I should be able to do and this isn't even scratching at the surface" I told him and Jack nodded "what if I tapped some of my inheritance and used it to get some of the lower pack members real jobs it would equal out whatever support you would lose in the middle ranks and everyone in the top ten your rock solid with other then Revlon" I said and jack nodded
"all good point but I don't need convincing kid I'll do it you're the future you might not ever be alpha of this pack but you can do what your father never would you can unite the packs you have the strength but you have what your father didn't your mind you work on a whole other level than most people" he said and I scoffed
"who would follow me you know how most of the alphas see my family we are just the trained ones to them the bloodline of the man that brought on the scourge of the hunters," I said and jack smiled
"then be the one too right that wrong," he said and I laughed at him
"yer me and what army," I said and jack shrugged
"I don't know but I can feel something come and I have my money on your kid," said Jack and I nodded "well even if you won't become king your sure going too start pulling your weight around here," said Jack and I laughed
"pulling my weight my pack tax pays is most of the pack's income what more do you need," I asked jokingly
"We are starting to have some trouble in the school," said Jack and I shrugged
