Chapter 14 Good Idea

"SPENCER! SPENCER! SPENCER!!"
an exited familiar screams filled the hall way interrupting me walking out of school about to go home.
I sighed, then paused.
and turned around
"yes Hanna?"
"A DOUBLE DATE!!"
"wha w-what" I said as a nervous chuckle slipped out of my lips
"me, you Caleb and Toby! We are joining you on your movie date tonight!" she exited happily
"oh great." I said holding out the 'great'
"I know right I'm so smart!"
"yep so smart"

an hour later...
"what's talking you so long spence!!"
"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'll be out in a minute!"
I soon walk out in a button up shirt, high waisted skirt, and flats
"you look great!"
"thanks so do you are you ready to go now?"
"yep!" she exited as she linked arms with mine tightly, smiling broadly

later at the movies...
"so what movie are we seeing?" Toby said as he folds his hands together.
Hanna looked at Caleb and she smiled
"I bought us tickets to see 'Perfectly paired'
(A/N: I have no idea if that's a real thing or not sooo let's just go with it haha oops)

"what?!!!" Caleb, Toby, and I yelled in unison

Toby's probably mad because the movie has Emma Roberts in it because for some odd reason he doesn't like her and she's "irritating" I don't know why he thinks that but whateves
and me on the other hand is thinking about the couples, the kissing , the making out , hand holding , crying and all that awkwardness this movie date is looking worse and worse.
"oh come on it will be great! besides I already bought it and it has almost 5 stars!"

"fine but I'm not paying for the popcorn!"

an hour later in the theater...
ugh this moving is boring
and awkward
the girl is back in town from like 5 months and has a boyfriend and stuff and she saw the ex from before and there talking about how he misses her and yata yata yata predictable.

I turn around to see Caleb and Hanna kissing, no making out
my eyes widen and try not to laugh
I look at Toby to see he's looking at me
this is a very uncomfortable situation
I mean do I kiss Toby? no of course not you've only kissed like once if I did that would just be going all too fast right?
I look away and look down at my hands fiddling with them.
I sigh.

I look to the corner of my Toby looking at me contently

I turn my head towards him looking at him for a brief second
"this is awkward." I say with a nervous chuckle
"yeah."
I open my mouth to say something but instead Toby stops me by kissing me, placing his lips on mine kissing me softly
and are lips move inSync like a pattern.
we both pull away after a few more seconds

I half smile sweetly and we both look down

later in the car ride home...
the car ride was silent besides Hanna and Caleb talking about stuff I wasn't listening I was just thinking, thinking about me and Toby how we kissed and how It was just amazing I know I know cliché but its true
"Earth to Spencer?!
"hm?"
"we're at your stop" Caleb said
"oh thanks" I said opening the door
"aren't you going to walk her up?" Caleb whispered to Toby
"oh uh yeah"
Toby opened the car door following me to my door step
"well this was fun." I said
"yep."
I scratch my head and fold my hands in front of me
"well thanks for walking me"
I turn to open my door and get my keys out
"Spencer wait"
I turn around and immediately Toby kisses me with a bit of force
and my hands are around his neck and he places his hands on my waist
are lips move together Perfectly Paired

Hanna honks the car
"ENOUGH MAKING OUT I HAVE A CURFEW!!"
we pull away with his hands still around my waist and mine around his neck and I laugh a little at Hanna
way to ruin the moment

we both slide are hands off each other and Toby begins walking away still looking at me with are hands still together and eventually he's far enough are hands slide away from each other and we're both just clutching air
maybe this was a good idea
