I stumble, propping myself up against the wall. I was literally shit faced drunk. This was terrible, but it was so fun. This was the most fun I've ever had on my birthday before. All my birthdays should be like this.
"Vera." Lyric says, her arms going around me to help me up. I turn, giving her a stupid feeling smile.
"I'm so drunk." I slur, wrapping my arms around her neck.
"I know. Laurent was looking for you." She says, making me pull my head off her shoulder and looking into her eyes. "He said you just disappeared."
"Oh my gawd." I laugh. "I totally forgot about Laurent!" I pull away from her and walk into the crowd. "I promised him a dance!" Without another word, I push through the crowd of people who were either dancing or just standing there, bobbing their heads and trying to not spill their drinks.
Another drink would be fantastic right about now.
"La-" I stop myself, studying the face. I couldn't pinpoint who was who just yet. "Larry!" I say, placing my hands on his arms. "I've missed you."
"We saw each other minutes ago."
"That was too long." I slur, the stupid smile still on my face. "I can only go so long without seeing you sometimes." One of my hands go to the afro he was no sporting and I lean toward him. "I really wanna kiss you."
"Vera, you drunk."
"I am." I slur, closing my eyes and biting my lip. "But that doesn't mean you can't kiss me. I love you, Larry." I say, wrapping my arms around his neck and pushing all my weight on him, making him stumble.
"Okay, let's go find my brother and Lyric." He says, wrapping his arm around my waist and pulling me through the crowd. I knew he liked this just as much as I did. Maybe even more. I liked to think he wanted me as much as I wanted him.
"Nooo." I groan, pulling him to a stop. "Take me home." I say, suggestiveness in my voice. He looks down at me as if what I said was just the worst thing to ever say in the history of words said. Like I was going to stay a virgin forever. Nope. Never.
"Princess, we have to-"
"Larry, stop playing with me." I say, pressing my body against his and grabbing the back of his neck. I pull his head down to my level, my heels helping a lot, and give him a smirk. "I want you really bad."
"Vera, you-"
"I know, I'm drunk. I don't care." I lean in closer, our lips brushing together. "Please fuck me."
He closes his eyes, thinking my words over. How more forward can I get? He better say yes or imma be hella mad.
"Vera, please don't."
"Oh my God." I breathe out, pulling away. "Who does that? I just asked you to fuck me and you rejected me? What type of man are you? I need a fucking drink." I turn around, but Larry grabs my wrist.
"No, Vera-"
"Don't ruin my fucking birthday. I'm gonna drink if I want to."
"Princess, you not even old enough."
"I guess I'm not old enough to get fucked either, huh?" I was too drunk. God, shut me up. "All these other girls can have a taste, but I'm different. What makes me different from those other hoes, Larry?"
"You special." He says, and I roll my eyes.
"I know that. I'm fucking perfect. But I guess it's not enough. You wanna do all types of extra shit with me, and take things slow, but I don't fucking want that." I take a step forward, but stumble, making him catch me. "Let go of me!" I huff, pulling away from him. "God, I can't stand you."
