Hope y'all don't mind a few swear words here and there?

Srijana

Time seems to just pass so fast. It was already two months now, since we all got the changes set in. July. My birth month. As well as Anaysha's.
It was a holiday because of the bad weather. The water drops falling furiously on my window. Strange. I never understood nature so well. Nanki could give a full on description of ever fucking thing. I hadn't got a text from her, WiFi is down. She had called me, we two, just discussing about anything that came to our wildly imaginative and surprisingly logical minds. Talking about the next earthquake that will earn us a few more holidays.
Just kidding.

It felt a bit weird to be living alone again. Mum and Dad, working in Europe. And I was left with my books and IPad. But for some reason, my mind wasn't at peace. I was trying to find why. But I couldn't. I need a distraction. Now.
I sat on the floor by the floor length glass window of my room. If you look at my room, it may not seem so special. Half the things were pink, because of my mum. Thank goodness, I got to paint the walls blue. Though, notice closely, and you'll find figures adorning the walls. I and Nanki drew them on my wall. I still look at them and smile, memories eh?
I searched the name in my contact list, my phone gripped in my hand. Wasn't hard to find the name. After all, it starts with A.

"Hello?"
"Hiii.."
"Hey Srijana! Enjoying the pouring?"
"Nada. What are you doing?"
"Getting bored. With Kevin- Ow! Okay sorry!"
I chuckled. Got hit by Li'l bro.
Alen's brother, Kevin, is my good friend. I've been trying to make him my best friend ever since I saw Alen. You all should know why.
"You?"
I almost forgot to answer. I was having a thought hurricane...
"Oh, yeah. Sorta same here. Just sittin' on the floor."
"Hehe. Hey you can come over if you want to!"
That's what I wanted to hear dear.
"What?"
Oh great, I said that out loud.
"Srijana?"
"Sorry, yeah?"
"Did you..did you just-"
"I'll be there in ten, Bye!"
"-call me dea-"
I couldn't get keep this little mouth shut. Great. Alright. You called him dear. Dear. Dear god....
I will have to male some good excuse now.
I pulled my hair up in a ponytail and with a deep breath, grabbing my keys, so I don't get locked outside, stepped out to head to the boy with that mysterious yet cheerful smile.

I met Kevin on the way, he smiled and greeted me. Okay. Now that's unusual. He is never this polite. With that, he left smiling. I couldn't even understand what that smile meant. Just his usual cheeky smile.
If he's out, that means Alen will be alone. Okay, less and more embarrassment at the same time. Great.

I knocked at the door. Of all the flats, his home doesn't have a bell. Our flats, Orchid Harmony, is pretty developed. I mean, its the only society with 15 storied buildings in our area.

The door opened to reveal a black specatcled face with a forming smile. He looked nice.
When doesn't he... According to you.
Shut up.

He was wearing a white T shirt and some ochre pants. He had a pencil in his hand, drawing was he?
"Hey! Come on in."
He smiled wide, his forming smile now a wide grin. Its not that I haven't been to his home a lot, but his house's aroma is something different. I often describe it to Starbucks. Ever since I said that, Anaysha wants to raid this house, in search for whatever that seems like a Starbucks to me.
"Had been just working on this blueprint. What do you think eh?"
He asked even though it took me time register the question. I was looking at his room and mainly, of course, him. It wasn't that I was crazy about him. I guess I was, but he really was nice. I have known him for a year now.
Oh god, come on Srijana! He asked you a question! Answer him! What was the question?!
"Oh.. Hmm.. I don't know you know? First thing I suck at drawing."
He chuckled at my response. True. I am bad at doing this stuff. Though if he had some math work for me, I'd be obliged to do it.
You sure? Did you come here to do math?
Right...
"Hey what's that?"
I asked, thinking he might just say it's just some pile of bricks surrounded by greenery, pictured faaaar too perfectly for it to be a pile of bricks. Guess my aim was pretty bad eh? His face brightened and he asked me to sit, picking up that photo.
"Ah... This is.."
He started explaining about it, it being some tomb for the leader of some tribe named... Was it Inca? Aztec? I continued to hear his not so deep voice still. Just enjoying his presence.
"I didn't make much sense did I now?"
He asked turning a light shade of red. Aww...
"No no, you did. But uh, I sorta don't remember much. I'm more of a tech person eh?"
He smiled, continuing to show some interesting stuff, which I did understand.
We ended up playing truth and dare with one of our school friends, on Skype, coincidentally, Tanmay!
"When did you and him become friends eh? I never came to know!"
"Learn to notice!"
Alen mocked in a deep weirdish voice, earning a punch from my side.
"Hehe, alright alright. So Alen the Dare's on you. You have to..."
Tanmay said, looking devilishly at me. Oh shit, what was he thinking?
"Give a peck on her cheek!"
Alen choked on his breath. Or was it me.
Before any of us could interject he continued.
"And you can't say no! Rules are rules!"
Alen turned bright right.
Oh god he looked so cute!
Tanmay saw Alen fidgeting. He was neither saying yes nor no.
"Oh come on guys be happy I didn't go to the extremes.."
"Okay... Um Srijana?"
"Y-yeah?"
Alen moved closer on the bed we were sitting.
I was able to feel his uneven breath on my cheek as he came closer.
"Alen! Alen! Alen!"
Tanmay was cheering from his place. I was looking at him with a blushed face and a nervous smile.
And then, Alen did it. I could feel his lips on my cheek as he softly pressed them. A strange electricity went through the whole of me. I felt I was in paradise. Keep on falling at a million mikes per hour. It was amazing....
Imagine his lips on yours...
Alright control!

Alen moved away just as slowly. I was already unhappy. The moment was so short! But so good.
"Perfect shot. What say, should I put it on Facebook? I am damn sure it will get millions of likes!"
Oh my god! I covered my mouth with my hands. Alen even redder now, if that was possible.
"Choudhary.... Don't ya dare."
Tanmay Choudhary. That's his surname.
"Yeah yeah. Damn, it sure was a sight. Both red as chillies!"
"Shut up already!"
We both said in unison and giggled like drunks. I guess yeah, I was drunk from seeing him smiling so brightly.
