Chapter Two: New World (Edited)

Scarlett ran as fast as she could. She had no clue where she was headed but knew that she had to hide. Turning down a random hall, she found herself in an empty classroom. She stored herself away in one of the cabinets and tried to catch her breath, but she did not have enough time to do so since a pair of students stumbled into the classroom with a fit of laughter.

"Going for round 2?" Camila chuckled as Lauren pushed her up against a desk.

"More like round 3," Lauren smirked as she kissed Camila's neck. "Or is it round 4?"

"Who cares," Camila moaned as she hopped off the desk and pushed Lauren up onto the teacher's desk and ripped Lauren's blouse open, revealing Lauren's scandalous black laced bra.

"God, you're so fucking beautiful," Camila moaned as she gazed at Lauren.

Camila's hands roamed all over Lauren's body, starting at her things up to her neck before pulling Lauren forward to connect their lips together. They fiercely fought for dominance as their tongues tied together in the heated kiss. Camila pulled away first, only to start kissing Lauren's neck.

"I don't think I can wait."

"Then don't," Lauren husked as she pulled Camila closer with her legs and wrapped them tightly around Camila's waist. "Do it babe."

Camila tangled her hand into Lauren's raven hair before tugging it roughly back to have more of the neck exposed. Camila's eyes changed from her dark brown orbs to a dark red shade. Veins appeared around her eyes as her canines elongated within her mouth. She bit into Lauren's exposed neck and moaned as the metallic liquid entered her mouth.

Scarlett held her breath as she watched the girl drink from the other's neck. She placed her hands over her mouth in order to keep herself from screaming as she wondered what the hell was going on.

"Slower Camz," Lauren instructed as she held tightly onto Camila's shoulders. "That's it. Just like that," She moaned as she tightened her legs.

Camila pulled away after a few minutes. A satisfied groan escaped her lips as her eyes and canines turned back to normal. Lauren smiled as she brought her hand up to clean up the small smudge of blood from Camila's lips. Camila lifted up Lauren's thumb and licked off the remaining blood, tempting them to go for another round. Sadly, they knew they had to restrain themselves. They were already late for lunch. Their friends would not be pleased, especially Ally.

"Gets better each and every time," Camila smirked as she helped Lauren off of the desk. "Think you can stand?"

"Yes," Lauren playfully swatted Camila's shoulder. "You did not deplete me completely of my strength."

"Is that a challenge?" Camila slightly teased.

"Next time," Lauren winked before placing her blouse back on and buttoning it up. "Come on. I'm famished," She declared as she kissed Camila and led the way outside of the classroom.

Once they were out of sight, Scarlett stumbled out of the closet and emotions ran rampant. What did she just see? What was going on in this academy?

She did not waste anymore time overthinking her thoughts and made a run for her own safe haven. When she entered her cottage, she knew she had to leave. She had to run away once again before they could find her. Grabbing her bag, she started to pack everything in haste. She was in such a panic, she did not hear or notice the two intruders until it was too late.

"Scarlett?"

The sudden voice spooked her, and out of instinct, she turned and had her hands outstretched to stop the abuse. In an instant, flames shot out of her hands and towards the two women who came over to check on her.
