The next day we did nothing because Miss Orchester wanted us to get settled in. I went to the bedroom and began to unpack. I hadn't talked to anyone all day. Four girls sat on one bed playing cards, three sat on the floor watching T.V., one was asleep, and one crying in the corner. It was probably around nine o'clock and non of us had eaten. Everyone turned and looked at me.

"Can I help you", I asked. They all turned back.

"Sorry, my name is Mallory. What subject did you fail?", She asked flipping her long blonde hair over her shoulder.

"Algebra", I replied. A girl watching T.V. turned to face me.

"I'm Shian ,miss Alabama. I came here for pageant camp", everyone sat there in silence until the girl who was crying in the corner wiped her eyes and stood up.

"My mom told me that this was a place that will teach me a lesson ".

"What is going on", One girl asked just as confused as the rest of us.

Something was definitely up and I didn't like it, so without saying a word I got up and walked out of the room with the girls behind me. We walked through the kitchen into the dinning. Miss Orchester sat at the head of the long table. The fireplace behind her was lit. When we entered she looked up from the soup she was eating.

"Oh good your here. Please sit", she said gesturing to the empty seats.

"First we want an explanation", I said. Her eyes got wide and she nodded taking a sip of her soup.

"Oh", she said "fine what is it".

"We all came here for different reasons. I was suppose to be here for summer school", I exclaimed.

"And pageant camp", Shian added.

"Sit", miss Ochester tried again. This time we obeyed, hesitant at first but then slowly sitting down at the table.

"I want to speak with principle Myers right now", I demanded.

"Oh dear, you don't need him. How about we play a game", she said folding her hands into her lap. An evil smile spread across her face.

"What kind of game", Mallory asked.

"A game that's starts at sundown", I looked at the window the sun was slowly sinking bellow the grassy fields.  Miss Orchester rose from her spot setting her napkin on the table and slowly made her way out of the dinning room. She stopped to looked at her reflextion in the mirror that hung on the wall. She looked at us in the mirror. We were still frozen in spot, trying to grasp what she meant. She still had a smile on her face, when she said in a voice that wasn't hers.

"Good luck", and with that she walked off. We all moved into the kitchen.

"Guys, the sun has gone down", the girl who was crying said. She looked on the verge of tears again.

"Relax", one girl said. All of a sudden there was a thump on the pantry door. We all jumped at the sound. Looking around confused and scared at the same time.

"What was that", one girl said breathing heavily.

"Relax, its probably just a rat. A really big rat", I assured them even though it wasn't really convincing. We all started moving towards the door. I grabbed a knife out of one of the kitchen drawer. One of the girls who had been playing cards with Mallory slowly put her hand on the knob. The thumping stopped .  She slowly started turning the knob, her hand shaking. I held the knife a little tighter. As soon as the door opened a pair of bloody dirty hands grabbed her and pulled her into the pantry the door closing behind her. We could here her screaming and crying.  Then it stopped. Our faces were pale as we tried to process what had happened. I moved towards the door prepared to stab anything that moved when a girl behind me shrieked.

"Don't stab Jennifer". I nodded, but didn't put my knife down.  I opened the door no one was in there. No Jennifer or murderer. It looked like A normal kitchen pantry except for the blood that was all over the floor and back of the door. Girls screamed and cried while I just stood there in shock.

'This cant be happening' I thought to myself 'this isn't happening. Its a dream'. I tried to convince myself but it wasn't working.
