Girls screamed and cried. "What kind of sick game is this", Mallory cried. A look of panic washed over the girls faces.
"Follow me", I said leading them out of the kitchen and into the living room. There was a door there that lead down to the basement, where miss Orchester stayed. I knocked on the door, no answer. I tried the door knob, locked.
"The old bat did this", I screamed in frustration "she knew about this, I have a hunch that's why were here". I tried to sound more angry then then scared. Even though I was scared, in fact I was terrified. For some reason I kept thinking one thing.
'We're going to die'.
None of us moved we sat on the old dusty plaid couches. We were to scared to do anything. It was midnight when a girl with a brown bob cut started crying so hard she almost made herself sick.
"We're...all....going...to....die", She said in between sobs.
Mallory stood wiping her eyes she said "I'm getting out of here". She ran to the front door, we all followed. She wiggled the handle. "Its locked from the outside", she exclaimed, before running to one of the windows and trying the same thing. Still, it was locked from the outside. Meaning there was no way out. Tears formed in her eyes and poured down her rosy checks. I tried not to show any emotion, but I wouldn't be able to hold it in forever.
"Why are we being punished", she asked burying her face into her hands.
"I don't know", I said patting her back comfortingly " I mean, the worst thing I have ever done was spray paint the principles car and set off bottle rockets in the teachers lounge" everyone looked at me in shock.
"What? Its not like anyone got hurt. At least I don't think anyone did", I said causing some of them to smile which made me feel good to get there mind off the horror movie we were living in.
We sat in silence for a few minutes trying to register what had happened .
One girl stood up and walked over towards the window starring outside and we all followed her gaze. And then like a flash of lighting a face appeared before quickly disappearing causing us all the scream.
The person or thing was wearing a ,what looked liked, wight mask which had grim and blood. But I had a perfect view of the eyes :
All black.
A few more girls started crying. I felt tears my self but I kept them from falling. Something miss Orchester said suddenly came to mind. She said something about a game one persons already dead.
There was a knock on the door making me jump.
The girl who had been crying in the corner when I first got here stood up and made her way to the door. She checked out the window before reaching for the door knob that was locked. Surprisingly the door was unlocked.
"Its unlocked we can get out", The girl said.
"Seems suspicious don't you think I mean one minute it's locked the next it's opened I don't think we should risk it", one girl said quickly cut off from the girl by the door.
"Look a barn", and she was right sitting about fifty feet away from us stood a red barn and on top the weather vain spun like crazy.
