Descended in Darkness

Chapter 6:

~ Screana's POV~

Screana slid to the floor of the storage room with tears in her eyes as her fingers flew to her lips. She sat their as the tears fell, she had betrayed her parents. The very ones who gave her life. She had betrayed her kind. The very ones who taught her. All in one night. She sighed dropping her head to her knees.

" the worst part is that I enjoyed it" she whispered to herself, and she had enjoyed it, every ounce of it. Every touch, every moan, everything. She sighed raking her hand through her hair and got up. Reaching for her dagger and stuffing it in her boot she made her way out of the club, not even bothering to wipe the tears from her eyes.

~ Kaiden's POV~

Kaiden walked into his room with a smile on his face as he thought of Screana. he knew in a way it was wrong but he had made up his mind the minute his lips brushed her shoulder, the minute she had kissed him back. He toppled onto his couch as he thought, Looking up at the Victorian ceiling. As he traced the outline his bedroom door creaked open. Kaiden craned his neck only to have hands cover his eyes.

" hey Kaiden did you miss me?" Kaiden removed the hands from his face and looked up only to find Ellie in front of him. She smiled her fangs glistening and contradicting with her blood red hair. She walked to him and straddled his lap, showing off her Lacey lingerie that she had draped on.

"I came her just for you" she said rubbing her fingers down his chest. When she came to his pants she kissed his neck while unbuttoning them. Kaiden growled. He grabbed Ellie's shoulders pushing her away.

"No" he said to her. He wouldn't ruin the moment he just had by some every day whore. She tried again, and Kaiden growled grabbing her hands and pushing her away.

"Ellie leave now! I don't want you" he hissed. She glared at him.

"Oh come on Kaiden" she said slipping out of her bra. Kaiden put his hand to his forehead in frustration. Getting up he grabbed Ellie by her arm, she took it as a yes. While she steered for the bedroom Kaiden held onto her until they reached the door.

" thanks so much for visiting. It was nice to see you but you have to go. I’m not in the mood for whore." Kaiden said. He pushed Ellie out her upper half naked and all and shut the door. Walking into his bedroom he collapsed on the bed.

~ Screana's POV~

Screana pulled the hotel cover over her head. She had gotten in late last night just as the sun was peaking the horizon. She groaned as the knocking continued on her door. Snuggling in her bed she decided to ignore it until the door was unlocked. Screana's eyes shot open. She grabbed for the dagger under her pillow and slithered out of bed to the far wall. Holding her dagger to her chest she waited. Just as she was to strike a maid appeared.

"Really?" The maid jumped at her voice guessing that no one was in the room. Her eyes widened at Screana as she saw the dagger in her hand. Then started apologizing.

" miss I am so sorry. I thought no one was in the room. I didn't know you slept in the day. Please don't tell my boss. I need this job. I have kids to feed. Bills to pay-" Screana held her hand up stopping her thick Spanish laced accent.

"If you get out of my room, and dont come back, then I won't tell your boss. Just leave." The maid nodded thanking her as she left. Screana closed the door locking it again. She walked to her bed and plopped down again. The last thought to fly through her mind before sleep took her was a pair of pale gray eyes.

~ Malcolm's POV~

Malcolm paced the floor now, irritated that Screana was not back yet. He wanted to call a search party but knew it was pointless. He knew she would come back eventually. Back to him. Besides she wouldn't stay away from her clan for long. The clan was more important to her then her own life. Malcolm growled grabbing his phone he dialed a number.
