Chapter 7

I woke up with Lou's arms still around me with my head on his chest and our legs intwined. When I looked up my eyes met with his.

"Your so cute when your sleeping",he said.

"Thanks I try hard",I laughed. I looked around and realized everyone else was gone.

"Where is everyone",I asked.

"Uhm your mum kinda caught us and sent them home but made me stay and wait for you to wake up so she could talk to the both of us",he explained.

"That's so embarrassing I'm sorry my momma is so over protective",I said probably turning bright red.

"It's ok love lets just get it over with",he said.

"Or we could go through the window",I suggested.

"That would just get us into more trouble",he laughed.

"True",I agreed.

He got up and helped me off the bean bag chair cause since he got up I sank into the chair.

"Momma I'm up",I yelled.

"Good come eat then join me on the couch",she replied.

"Ok",I sighed.

We went down stairs where momma had made us French toast and scrambled eggs. We ate really slowly to stall from talking to my momma.

Unfortunately we finished after about 15 minutes.

"You ready",I asked.

"It's you who is nervous",he said.

He grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze before we walked into the living room.

"Come sit",she said pointing to the couch.

"Why did you invite your friends over without asking for my permission",she asked.

"I recall you not bein here last night",I said.

"Are y'all dating now",she asked.

"Who me and lou",I asked.

"Don't be dumb",she scolded.

"As a matter of fact we are",I said.

"Have you done anything",she asked.

"Why should I tell you",I said crossing my arms.

"Cause I'm your momma",she said.

"You should start acting like it then",I said.

"What do you mean I'm always the one you come to for anything",she said.

"No if you listened or paid attention you know how my life is",I said.

"When don't I listen",she asked.

"When your always drunk every night with your friends",I retorted.

"You know what I'm just sayin be safe ok",she asked.

"Ok ",I said as I dragged Lou out of the room.

"Lou wait outside so I can talk to Becca",momma said.

"Ok",he said as he kissed my cheek and let go of my hand walking out the door.

"Rebecca Ann Clearwaters what has been with you lately ever since your daddy died you've been acting like a little bitch and I know I'm your momma and I shouldn't say that but it's the truth",she yelled.

"I know it's just he was my daddy you try having your daddy die while your in high school I mean he was supposed to see me graduate and go to college and walk with me at my wedding",I screamed with tears streaming down my face.
