Chapter 11

Oh god I have a game today that Lou and the boys are coming to oh and Carmen but she don't count cause she's on the soccer team she's our midfield. Our team is the Southern Stallions. I walked back home in need of a shower and my jersey. Momma won't be home she'll be at work so she don't need to know that I came back home. I ran up stairs and hopped in the shower I only have an hour until I have to be at the game. I quickly washed my body and shaved my legs. I got out and brushed my wet hair and put it in a high ponytail. I walked out of my bathroom in my towel just to see Lou sitting on me bed.

"Darn it Lou you scared the shit out of me what are you doing here",I yelled.

"Sorry love I just wanted to take my lovely girlfriend to her football game",he said.

"Ok can you go downstairs and get my goalie jersey and gloves their on the table",I asked.

"Ok",he said runnin down stairs. I finished drying off and went over to put my sports bra on. I felt Lou wrap his arms around me.

"God boo bear stop doing that",I said jumping cause he scared me again.

"Sorry I'm sorry you get scared easily",he laughed. I playfully hit him then ran away.

"I'm gonna get you",he yelled running after me. After about five minutes he caught me picking me up as I screamed and laughed.

"Lou I need to get dressed",I laughed.

"No you don't you look fine like this",he smiled.

"Boo bear I need to put my jersey on",I laughed.

"Fine",he sighed,"but superman shall carry you to your wanted destination",he said making his voice a lot deeper then carried me upstairs to my room. Crap I have 20 minutes. I ran over and put on my sports bra and underwear then I ran over to the basket in my closet that held my jersey. Our jersey is highlighter yellow with blue writing that says 'stallions' on the front and our name on the back. I put the shirt and shorts on then put on my black and green shinguards the my matching socks. I ran over to grab my cleats which are high liter yellow with bright purple strips and orange writing that said 'Adidas'.

"Wow you even look hot in a soccer uniform",Lou said checking me out.

"Did you get what I asked for",I asked changing the subject.

"Yup here you go",he said handing me my gloves and goalie Jersey.

"Ok let's go",I said grabbing his hand and dragging him down the stairs to his jeep. I hopped in and Lou sped out of the driveway. We pulled up to the school and I hoped out of the jeep and ran over to Carmen who was waiting at a table for me.

"What took you so long",she yelled as we ran towards the field.

"Lou showed up",I said.

"Ooh",she said.

"Shut up",I said playfully hitting her as we stopped in front of coach setler.

"Mrs.Clearwater's you need to stop being late",she said in a stern voice.

"Sorry coach I had to run home and grab something",I lied.

"Whatever. Girls get in your positions",she yelled. I ran out to the goal and put on my goalie jersey and gloves then hunched over into my goalie positions. We are playing the eastern sharks,I hear they're good. I heard the whistle blow as our forwards started with the ball and ran towards their goal. The sharks defense took the ball and passed it up field towards me the forwards took it and shot what should have been a goal but I did something I've never done before I did a front flip catching the ball and rolling on the ground.

"The goalie is my girlfriend",I heard Lou yell.

In the first half our team only scored two goals and the sharks had scored zero. This time the sharks started with the ball and easily got past our players they were coming up to me hoping I would come out of my box and try and get the ball leaving them a perfect shot. They were wrong. I waited for them to come into my box then I came out a bit and slide tackled the girl making her fall and then I grabbed the ball.

"That's a yellow card on the goalie",I heard the referee yell.

"What!?how?!",Lou yelled/asked.

"She slide tackled the girl",the ref yelled.

"But she was in the goalies box and the goalie can do what she needs to protect th goal",Lou yelled.

"You know what not according to my rules",the ref said.

"But-",Lou said getting cut off by the ref.

"One more word out of you and you'll be kicked out of the game.

"Ok",Lou sighed sitting down.

"Penalty shot",the ref yelled. The girl was so dramatic limping over to the ball. She kicked it super hard and I dived letting the ball hit my stomach and making a thud then bounced off and Carmen took it and scored right as the whistle blew. I laid on the ground in pain usually I'm not a baby but that hit my ribs and it hurts.

"Babe are you ok",Lou asked running up to my side.

"I don't know",I said unable to move from the pain.

"I'm calling the paramedics",Carmen said as I passed out from the pain.
