Chapter 6: Abyss and Avenger

Meanwhile, with Ara...

Already arrived at Sander, she went to Sander's hospital. When she got there, she saw a familiar figure. The figure had the same red color as Elsword's, which makes Ara's face brighten.

She ran to the figure shouting, "Elsis!"

The figure turned to the Sakra Devanam as she smiled. "Ara!"

The two gave each other a friendly hug. "I knew it's really you." Ara said happily.

"Yep. It's me alright." Elesis said.

They let go of each other as Ara noticed something different about the Crimson Avenger. She still wore those same clothes as last time and was covered by the cloak she's wearing now. But her long scarlet was tied into a short pony tail and her eyes weren't yellow anymore but now red.

"What happen to you?" Ara asked. "You look different than last time."

"Oh, is it about my hair?" Ara nodded and said, "Not just that, your eyes aren't yellow anymore."

"Really!?"

"You didn't know that?"

"Um..." Elesis shyly said. "I kinda never glance myself at a mirror."

"But now you do." Ara said as she took out a small yellow oval framed mirror and handed it over to the Crimson Avenger.

She look at herself in it and said sheepishly, "Wow, I did not even notice that."

Ara sweatdropped at the sentence, 'Duh...' She thought. 'But she sounded like the Elesis I knew back then before she became a Crimson Avenger. I wonder what change her during her journey alone?'

While she's in deep thoughts, she snapped back to reality when Elesis mentioned about meeting her brother.

"He sent a invitation to me while I was traveling." The red head said. "Something about 'chit-chat' I guess."

"Why did he want to talk to you?" Ara asked.

She shrugged, "Don't know. But a part of the message said that it's very important. So why not talk with him about that?"

So the two went inside the hospital, only to not expect of what's going to happen next.

As Adam went back to the room, there he finds General Aidan sitting on his grand chair again and the green cloaked man right beside the table.

"You're back." Adam said.

"Yes, and I see you were underestimated by Colossus and his child." Aidan lowly chuckled, "Father and son, eh..."

"What do you call me for?" Adam asked thinking that he would receive some kind of punishment for failing the mission.

"Oh don't worry," Aidan said. "You're not here for punishment, you're here for another mission with Geass."

He turned to the green hooded cloak man who's name is Geass, as he turned back to Aidan.

"And what mission is that?"

Aidan evilly smirked.

Adam looked through the window where the two girls talking with Aren.

"Wait until I tell you so." Geass nodded.

'That would be... Assassinate Aren Haan."
