Chapter 7: Confusion

She whispered, Ronan...?

When he heard it, Adam dropped his sword and his head began to ache. He fell on to his knees and starting to clench his head while gritting his teeth.

"Ronan!" Elesis felt worry. she tried to get closer to him but she backed away when he swung his sword at her. "My name is Adam, not..." He tightly clenched his head once more when blurry images came to his head. The pain began to increase as he screamed.

When his screams were heard, Eun and Geass turned to where it was. 'What is wrong with him?' Eun thought, confused when she saw Elesis' opponent screaming in pain while his hands held his head.

She reacted quickly when she saw Geass running towards Elesis and Adam. "Stop right there!" Eun shouted.

"Flying Kite!"

She jumped high as possible as the wind guide her fall with motion. Flying like a kite as she mid-landed between Geass and Elesis and Adam. Before landing, while in the air, Eun strikes Geass with her spear once more as she dived diagonally downwards, thrusting her spear and had shredded Geass' green cloak into pieces.

The shattered cloak fell off as Eun's, Elesis' and Aren's eyes widen when they saw Geass' hidden appearance.

Geass was actually not human. His head resembled King Nasod's but his green metalic body looked similar to the Seiker family's armor with wires in some major areas and had a long drill at his right arm.

A Nasod? Aren and Eun thought.

"What is going on here?" Elesis asked after seeing Geass appearance.

The Nasod didn't stop as he use his right armed drill to pierce through Eun. She dodged and tried to cut the drill in half but when she did with her spear, electricity surged from Geass' body to his drill as Eun was shocked by it and had crashed into a wall.

"Eun!" Aren ran to her and tries to get her up. "I'm fine." Eun answered.

"Ronan!"

The two turned to see Elesis throwing a saw blade at Geass who had Adam- or Ronan - on his shoulder after he fell unconscious. Geass parried the saw and it flew into an opposite direction and landed on the sand.

Elesis gritted her teeth as Geass threw out black balls and it erupted with thick smoke. The smoke dispersed but was blown away by Elesis' blood waves and Eun's tiger stance skills.

Elesis cursed herself when she noticed that Geass and Ronan was gone. Eun looked at her suspiciously until she turned to Aren who's still safe from danger. "Do you know who are those people?"

Aren shook his head sideways as Eun frowned. "I see."

"But," Aren said. "There's something familiar about that Nasod which had caught my eye."

Finally, Elesis paid attention to him as Eun asked, "Then what is it?"

"I'll explain later but right now," Aren looked at the damage on Sander that their battle had cause. "we should head out to Hamel. Staying here wouldn't be a good idea if those two comes back."

Elesis tried to protest but she surprisingly kept her mouth shut.

Ara's hair turned back to its normal color as Ara looked at Aren with worry in her eyes. "Are you okay Aren?"

Her brother smiled. "Yes I'm fine. Thanks to Eun." He puts his hand on her shoulder. "Now let's go see the Sander chief and explain to him what happen first before going to Hamel."
