The doorbell suddenly rings and we exchange horrified glances. We then ensure ourselves that we will be fine. Mom opens the door.

Outside the door reveals......the mailman?

"Seriously!?!?" I whisper-shout to Cameron.

"I don't know," Cam replies.

Mom pays the mailman and takes the package. It turns out to be the headphones she ordered for herself last week on eBay.

The doorbell rings again and Cam and I are sure it's Bella this time.

Well what do you know? It is.

"Sarah! Richard! Bella! I'm so glad to see you guys!" Mom leans out and hugs Aunt Sarah, her sister.

"Come on in!" I'm not enjoying the amount of fake-looking enthusiasm mom is putting towards Bella being here.

"Chloe, thank you so much for watching Bella over the summer. She really looks forward to hanging out with Cameron and Claudia," Aunt Rachel says with a grateful smile, referring to my mom as Chloe.

Huh. Yeah right. All she wants to do is get a chance to brag about her new boyfriend, or her brand new expensive iPhone 6 Plus, or her brand new jewelry and makeup imported all the way from Japan. I mean seriously, who cares what kind of makeup she has, it's not like she looks good in it. And she's only 14 and she already has a boyfriend. I'm 15 and Cameron is 17 and we still don't have boyfriends. Not that it matters, guys these days are either jocks, punk, emo, popular, or sporty. And frankly, none of those are even my type, or Cameron's.

"OMG CAM, CLAUD! ITS BEEN SO LONG!" Bella runs over to us screaming. This is going to be a long summer....
