My Bestfriend's Brother Chapter 14:

Its been a week since I been back home and I still dont know what me and Anthony are yet , all we do is kiss once in a while

I lied to my bestfriend and told her im going out with Sam which is not true at all , I dont see sam in that way.

I told Sam to act like were a couple when were around Stephanie and he agreed only if I bought him a taco which I did

Right about now im taking a walk with Derek cause he is drunk and I had to help him I can't just let him walk home drunk all alone

"Did you and my bro Anthony do anything yet its been month"

"What are you talking about?"

We stand in front of his house "did you and Anthony have sex yet its been a month , can you not hear" he looks at my ear in a weird way

"Thats not your business and why are you asking me that , I think you had to many beers"

He keeps looking at my ear

"Stop looking at my ear like that" I snap at him

He laughs "me and Anthony made a bet about you"

"What was it about" I smile

"My head hurts I needa nap"

He trys to walk away but I grab him

"Ok you might be drunk but you can talk"

"Oh yea I forgot..well it was if he has sex with you by the end of the month , I have to give him 60 dollars"

What?

"Can you say that again"

"No im going inside im to tired" he goes in his house

Hes drunk how do I know hes telling the truth?

But they say when your drunk you tell the truth....what if he only is being nice and stuff to get in my pants , which by the way I didn't let happen

Im gonna have to find out myself

I walk back to my neighborhood and knock on Stephanie s door a little to hard

Anthony answers "hey" he leans to kiss my cheek but I shove his face away

"Can we talk"

"Im busy"

I cut him off "no I need to talk now"

"Ok if its that important" he grabs his shirt off the couch and puts it on

I cross my arms as we walk somewhere more private to talk

"Can you tell me whats wrong with you now" he trys to put his hand on my shoulder but I step back

"Your such a jerk"

"What?"

"I knew I should have never liked you , your exactly what I thought of you"

"Thought of me? What is wrong with you?"

"What is wrong with me? No what is wrong with you , what do I look like to you , a sex symbol"

"Im not"

I cut him off "is that all I was to you , a stupid bet for 60 dollars"

"Oh no I didnt"

I cut him off again "save it , im so done with you , what ever we were , is over , done , just do me a favor and act like we was never a thing"

"But Lauren that was before I didnt even wanna do the bet"

"You still did it! , don't use no lame excuse cause I dont want you , I don't wanna be hurt , I dont wanna be a bet"

My eyes start to tear up , I look up "o god I cant believe I actually thought you was sweet and I cant believe I actually liked you , your just like the rest of them"

He trys to touch me

"Just like the rest of them" I run out towards my house

How can you just use a girl for money , a bet , why cant guys see that girls are more then just sex

I throw myself on my bed , I wipe my eyes , im not gonna cry over someone that never liked me , he wants to treat me wrong , I can do the same thing back.

I close my window , curtains and leave my room

Im not gonna let this get to me

I was fine when he wasn't around

I was fine when my dad passed away

I was fine when Im in need

And im fine now

"Dont do that im okay"

"Your not okay , you dont have to act like your always okay , its okay to cry"

"I dont need to cry , he was just a boy"

"Hes more then just a boy to you , Lauren you love him"

"I dont i-i dont love him , sam please I didnt come over here to make you make me feel more worse"

"Fine , so what are you gonna do now"

"Im not sure yet but I do wanna get him back"

"Lauren I dont think thats a good idea"

"Why not , it wasn't a good idea to treat me like a bet and he still did it so why cant I get him back"

"Because your not him" he snapped at me

I stood quite and stared at my fingers

"Why is it always me?"

"I dont know" he grabs my hand

"Im not bad , im good , I do what I have to do but yet I still get hurt"

"Its life"

"Well I hate it"

"Sometimes we all do"

I hug him tight

So now she found out

I was gonna make it more dramatic but aw well
