My Bestfriend's Brother Chapter 16:

Today is not my day

My hair isn't turning out good , most of my clothes are dirty , I went to go change my shirt and forgot my curtains was open so Anthony saw me in my bra , I was walking over to Stephanie and tripped and fell on my freaking face in front of Anthony and now im stuck in the stupid hospital waiting for an x-ray to see if my nose is good from falling on concrete

So yea im having the best day of my life!

"Its been like1 hour and im still waiting"

I say to the girl in the front

Her hair is very long with purple in it with a piercing on her nose and lip but shes very pretty

Her nails clicking on the keyboard as she types then looks at up at me

"Im sorry mam but we are very busy and you have to wait"

"How much longer all I need is a x-ray , gosh if I got hit by a car and coming to this hospital I would have died already"

"I will see what I can do" she said in a nice quiet voice

She gets up and goes to the back , I sit back down and wait
"Come" she tells me

I get up and follow her "thanks"

"No problem , I dont blame you for being annoyed"

"Yea I mean im trying to check if I have broken nose" I laugh

"Some things just take time"

Those words got me thinking.

My nose is fine im just happy I can leave I been here all day.

As soon as I walk out the hospital I see Anthony holding a pizza box in his hand

"Hungry?"

"Are you doing this so I can forgive you and forget about the whole bet thing cause if you are it might work" I lick my lips and try to grab the box from him

"No , and you dont have to I understand if you dont like me for that but I know you been here all day and your hungry so I figured why not"

"Can you just hand over the box"

Im starving all I ate today was some pistachios from the vending machine in the hospital

"Can we go somewhere and eat it and talk"

"Yea , yea I just wanna eat"

We get in his car and all I do is eye that pizza box

He stops the car and I start eating my pizza

"What you wanna talk about" I say with pizza in my mouth

I know its rude but who cares im hungry!

He laughs and grabs a napkin and wipes the side of my mouth

"Us"

I almost choke on the pizza "us?"

"Yea"

"I dont wanna talk about that right now"

"Okay fine" he looks outside his window

"Have you talked to your parents"

"Yea well my mom"

"And?" I take a bite outta my pizza

"And its still the same answer"
