A/N:
Hey Readers!
This is my second book so please understand if there's spelling mistakes and misused words. This book is fiction, has a lot of drama, romance, and sadness, but it's all my imagination, please understand stuff that doesn't even make sense.
Yes, I read other stories on Wattpad, and some stuff stay etched in my mind, and I do get ideas of how to write better, but rest assured, I do not copy.
Any other book resembling this one is a coincidence, unless that absolute idiot copied my story.
All rights reserved, so don't copy, print, or anything else without the author's permission, me.
And please let me know if someone is downright copying my story.
The picture attached is the main character, Cecilia Kings. :)
Enjoy Reading this first chapter! ;-)"Look at that star, honey. Isn't it beautiful? It's like it's winking at us."
The older woman looked down at the little girl peering up at the breathtaking view, her mouth slightly open.
"It's so pretty." The young girl breathed, a smile spreading across her face.
"The stars are a message to us, Cece. Someday you'll learn to read them." The mother knelt down to her daughter's height and wrapped her arms around the frail girl as they shared a smile before looking up again.
A/N:
Before you keep reading, I wanted to let you know that this is not a happy story of a girl. It's a story of a girl that lives in depression. Nonetheless, I will be sure to give this book lots of happy parts. Please keep on reading still. :-)

-Cecelia POV-
I shivered as I stared up at the gloomy building in front of me, unconsciously pulling my hoodie further over my face.
"Doesn't this look like a fun place?" My aunt Caroline exclaimed, her lips curving into a smile.
When I didn't answer, she sighed and laid her hand on my shoulder.
"Cecilia, just remember, I'll be a block away from this college so if you need me, you can come."
"Yea." I answered quietly and she smiled, pushing me forward. "Now go, honey. Have fun."
I walked towards the front of the building with my suitcase in hand and my backpack slung over my shoulder, taking a deep breath before opening the door.
Inside was a frenzy of people walking around, yelling, talking, and laughing.
Some turned to look at me, others didn't even notice the girl in a hoodie. Finally spotting the headmaster's office, I hurried over to it and knocked on the door.
"Come on in." A feminine voice called out and I opened the door slowly, stepping in.
A woman with long blonde hair sat behind the desk, her eyes now on me. "Hi, I'm the vice principal. Can I help you?"
"I'm Cecilia Kings and I need my schedule and dorm number." I told her and inwardly sighed when her eyes turned sympathetic.
"I need my schedule and dorm number." I repeated, wishing she would stop looking at me like that.
"Oh right." She handed me a paper and a key, patting my hand softly. "If you need anything, I'm here."
