Listen to it. It's simply amazing!
That's all. --Yoli-Cecilia's POV-
-Lots Of Days Later-
"Damien have you ever heard of a tidy room?!" I yelled, picking up the dirty clothes in his room.
"I think I heard about it once a long time ago, but it was just in a dream." He shouted back, sarcasm tinged on the edges of his voice.
"It's laundry day so I need all your clothes." I fumed, chucking another clothing unto the pile on the floor.
"If you clean it up for me, I'll make lunch, deal?"
I hesitated, it sounded appealing to not make lunch but I didn't know what germs were all in here.
"Yea sure, whatever." I answered and carried the clothes to the washing machine before making my way back to his room.
I was halfway through with cleaning up his horrendous room when a picture caught my eye. It was a picture of Damien and a girl, he was kissing her. Underneath the pictures were the words "My Sweetheart".
I didn't want to believe that Damien hadn't told me about his girlfriend, much less told me he even had one.
It kinda poked my heart to see the picture but I ignored it, continuing on with my work. I was determined though to talk to him about it, because I wanted to know why he hadn't told me.
I finally swept the dust into the dustbin and headed to the bathroom to wash my gruesome hands.
"Wow you did a good job." Damien praised me, coming to lean against the bathroom door.
I silently dried my hands and brushed past him, heading for the kitchen. Flopping unto the couch, I ignored his piercing gaze and started reading Damien's book that he had lying there.
"Did I do something?" He finally asked, and I glanced at him to see a confused look resting on his features.
"No you didn't." I assured him, kinda lying right through my teeth.
He didn't look convinced but he resumed with making lunch, only throwing glances at me once in awhile.
"Oh by the way, there's a party tonight. Do you wanna come?" He invited, offering a dazzling smile at me. I stared at him uncertainly, trying not to notice the flutter in my stomach at his smile.
"Its ok, just go on without me." I waved my hand nonchalantly, raising my eyebrows when he brought me a plate of food.
"Thanks." I murmured, fidgeting slightly when he sat down beside me.
"Come on Cecilia. It'll be fun." He coaxed.
"I don't know."
He pouted slightly, eyeing me with sadness and I sighed, giving in. "Ok fine, I'll go."
He grinned in victory and I sighed again.
******
"Nope. No. Damn it." I groaned, pressing a hand to my forehead as I miserably searched for something to wear.
I looked through my last section of dresses and finally pulled out a dark red lace dress.
"This better fit." I muttered, locking the door and then letting my towel fall to the floor. I had showered already but I hadn't bothered to put on clothes before I found the right outfit.
Slipping on the tight dress, I scrunched my nose as I stared into the reflection. Maybe it clung too tightly on me.
The lace sleeves reached till slightly over my elbow and the dress reached till middle thigh, barely.
