Song: Heartbreak Coverup by Jesse Labelle ft. Alyssa Reid.Cecilia POV:
-Next Morning-I woke up to the loud pounding of the rain on the roof and I groggily opened my eyes, staring straight into Damien's face.
I was shocked spellbound as the memories of yesterday flooded back into my head. It wasn't pleasant, at all.
A searing pain at my wrists probed me out of my thinking and I looked down at them. They were covered in cuts. Not just a few, a lot. A tear pricked at the corner of my eye as I
slowly eased myself out of Damien's hold and sat up, waiting for him to wake up.My incessant wriggling around did seem to make him stir and he sleepily opened his eyes.
"Morning." He whispered, yawning.
"Morning." I murmured, wondering how he could say it so casually. Oh, maybe I just did too.
He got up without another word and sauntered out of the room, closing the door behind him.
A quick look at myself assured me that my clothes were in place.
Standing up, I took my clothes for the day and walked into the bathroom, my eyes widening at the reflection in the mirror.
It was horrible. My eyes were red and bloodshot, my hair was resembling a very messy bird's nest. I just looked, hideous.
After brushing my teeth, combing my hair and washing my face, I slipped on a razorback tank top with a jeans jacket over, along with skinny jeans.
"Much better." I muttered to myself and walked out, determined to talk to Damien.
He looked up when I entered the kitchen and I swallowed hard, trying go ignore the caring and concerned look on his face.
"How are you?"
"Confused." I answered simply, sitting down at the island beside him.
He nodded slowly and pushed some boxes of cereal over to me. I shook my head and rested my chin on my hand. "I'm sorry I was such a baby yesterday."
"Cece! You weren't." He exclaimed, his eyes widening at my bluntness.
I shook my head, fighting back at the tears pushing at my eyelids. When had I become such a drama queen?
"Come on, you're going shopping with me today, and then we can eat dinner somewhere. You need to get out of the house again." He spoke gently and I nodded, not willing myself to speak.
He smiled and stood up, carrying the dishes to the sink.
Then he took the box of bandaids, and sat down beside me, his hand reaching for my wrist.

"And icecream?"
"And icecream." I confirmed Damien, and he nodded, setting a carton of icecream unto the cart.
"I'll pay it though." I quickly told him and he chuckled, shaking his head.
"Not necessary."With a sigh, I pushed the cart to the next aisle. It was useless trying to reason with Damien.
"I think we've got everything." He mused, his eyes scanning over the contents in the cart.
"Ok then." I steered the cart to the cashier register and waited patiently behind an old lady.
Damien suddenly squeezed past me, his chest pressing firmly to my back. He bent down and helped the old lady by taking the big sack of wash powder she had and heaved it unto the register.
