Chapter 28

Alex's pov:

I walk towards the beach, looking behind me I see dell searching through her car for something. She's been acting a little weird but, that's Rydel. (A/n: lol) I sit on a wall and take off my socks and shoes. My toes squish in the sand as I start walking.

I see a blonde man standing and facing me, with candles circling him. He almost looks like Riker from a distance. My eyebrows furrow together in confusion and I keep walking. I walk closer and see Riker, nervously shuffling his feet. My heart starts racing. I run towards him and jump into his arms. It's honestly impossible to stay away from someone you love. "Baby." Riker whispers in my ear. I missed him calling me that. Tears start to form in my eyes as I look at him. "Hey Rikes." I whisper. "Alex, I'm so sorry I-" he starts but I interrupt him. "No Riker, I'm the one who should be apologizing." He puts me down as I talk. "I'm sorry for splitting us up, all it did was make the pain worse. I love you so much, and nothing will change that." I say, looking into his beautiful brown eyes. He smiles and leans down to kiss me. I missed his lips. They were soft and fit perfectly with mine. He pulls back and says, "Alex, the last few weeks have been rough, but I'm glad we made it through, because I don't want to loose you again. All I want is to wake up and fall asleep next to you every day. I want to come home to you everyday after band rehearsal and be able to hold you and tell you I love you for the rest of my life. It's crazy how much I love you and I can't ever loose you again so.." A tear falls down my cheek.

Then, he pulls a little box out of his pocket and gets down on one knee. My hands fly over to cover my mouth. "Alex, will you marry me?" He asks, opening the box to reveal a beautiful ring. My heart is beating 1000 times a minute. I nod my head yes, unable to form words. "Yah?" His eyes light up. "Yes!!" I squeal. He gets up and slides the pink ring on my finger. I grab his face and pull him into a passionate kiss. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. Our lips move in sync. I'm his fiancé. We're getting married. This is amazing. I pull back and look at him, a huge smile plastered on both of our faces. "I love you so much." I whisper. "I love you too baby girl." He kisses me again.

Then Rydel comes sprinting down the beach. "Guys!" She squeals. Riker puts me down and I hug Rydel. "Ahh! Let me seeeee!" She smiles. I show her my beautiful ring, it glistens in the sunset. "Oh my gosh it's beautiful. Congrats guys! Anyways, I'll be at the band house, see you later, love birds!" She smiles and walks back to her car. "Let's go home baby." I say, Riker nods.

We pull up to me and Riker's house. Its been a long time since we've been here. But now, we're engaged and happy. I'm happy and riker is glowing with happiness. He grabs my hand and intertwines our fingers together. I love when he holds my hand, they fit perfectly together. I unlock the door and walk in. Everything is just as we left it. Riker comes in behind me and closes the door. "Welcome home baby." Riker smiles, hugging me from behind. "Yah, its our home." I smile. "Lets just have a netflix marathon night." I mumble. "Sounds good (A/N: feels good HA sorry if you don't get it lol) to me princess." He laughs. I run up the stairs, with him behind me. I change into grey sweatpants and Riker's pullover. He lifts me up bridal style and carries me downstairs, me giggling the whole way down. "Rikes!" I laugh. He sits down on the couch, me still in his lap, and turns on the tv. I snuggle into his chest as he opens netflix and picks a movie. Today was an amazing day, and Riker is permanently mine.
