It was a luminous afternoon. All the children were in glee and running around. I was on the swings, closing my eyes to keep them out. Out of my sight, out of my mind. Everyone already called me crazy, even my own parents. That's why they made me see a therapist and take lots of medication , but it never helped. I always saw them.
I felt one staring at me. I made a mistake and opened my eyes for a brief second. It was right in front of me, sitting on my lap, staring. I didn't want to embarrass my brother by screaming and yelling "Get off of me." So I sat there quietly and ignore the creature. It was hard though. It was enticing and beautiful. It had electric blue hair that reminded me of a lion's mane, it also had two tiny horns to go with the mane. The creature's skin was pale white...and It's wings...oh it's wings were beautiful. I couldn't keep my eyes the off glittering light blue transparent wings on the creature's back.
The Creature finally got off me. It beckoned me with it's scaly fingers. I looked around to see maybe if was talking to someone else or maybe another creature. But no one even paid attention over here, and there was most certainly no other creatures around, so got off my swing and followed the beautiful ,enticing creature.
It lead my to the forest, I started seeing more of these faery type creatures. They were all beauties and there voices all sound like a high pitch bird, or some type of censor on the T.v or a movie, so I have no clue what they were saying.
A creature with purple skin pulled on my hair, then made a noise that sound like a snort. I'm guessing she was making fun of my hair. I will say that my hair was pretty dull compared to theirs. More creatures came near me and poked me. Their pitch black eyes scouring through every inch of my body, then they finally stopped and ran off as we approached a big oak tree that had a ....a door on it?
The blue manned creature gestured to the door, wanting me to open it. She made a noise, but of course I didn't understand her...well I'm guessing it's was a girl. When I didn't respond she took my arm and led it to the door knob, a gesture to open it. All the creature that were once around me were hiding behind trees and were peeking out to watch.
I finally did what the wanted and turned the door knob, think nothing would happen, the this was all a dream. But I was wrong.
The door opened and all the creatures flew through before I got a chance to look in ,myself.

I asked the Blue Manned Fae. The Fae didn't answer, she just kept on leading me somewhere. Her long nails that were piercing into my skin started to hurt. I thought about asking to loosen her grip , but she didn't seem to understand me.

We stopped at another tree, but this didn't have a door. The Blue Manned Fae flew over to the tree. She lightly knocked on it and the tree seemed to come alive. A whole bunch of butterflies that looked like leafs flew off the tree. A person, a woman to be exact came out of the tree, she was part of the tree, one with the tree. Her hair was made of moss and part of her face was rough, like bark off a tree. Her eyes were brown and seemed to pierce your soul when she looked at you. Over all she was beautiful and captivating to look at, like all the fae.
She beckoned me with her fingers, telling me to step close. I didn't know if should step closer of not. She kind of scared me,and I didn't trust going toward something I didn't know or understand.

She just beckoned me again, but this time I stepped closer. She looked more beautiful closer up. I could see that her eyes we're actually a mocha color. I could see the bugs and flies crawling in her mossy hair and I could see the roughness of the bark on her face.
"Welcome Child. I am Mother Dryad. The oldest and kindest Drayed here in the Dryad Forest."
For once I could understand someone. I didn't know what to say, saying I was speechless is a understatement. I literally couldn't say anything.
The blue manned Fae come out from behind the Dryad and said something to her.
"I told you she was pretty."
The Fae came back to me.
"I'll lead her through the whole land Mother Dryad, I'll be sure to take her to..."that" place"
The Dryad nodded.
"Please do Mana, I trust you."
So the Fae's name was Mana. I looked at them both with wonder. They weren't making sense. The dryad looked at me and waved goodbye. She started to go back into the tree.
"Until next time my child"
With that , the Mother was gone and I was left with Mana the Blue Manned Fae, who took my hand and started to lead me away from the tree. We past numerous dryads, who just gave me stares and snickers. Many didn't look too nice, but I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover, so for all I know they could be nice or they could be mean.
