Chapter 36:Good Times And Bad

Kendra POV

It's been a month, I've been better. I haven't smoked anything. L.T finally hid everything, I don't even know where he keeps it anymore, he really loves me enough to keep away from it. I sat on my couch and looked through this movie script, John Singleton gave me a leading role to this hardcore movie, I can't wait. I read a part and smiled. Then some one knocked on the door, I put down the script, and opened it.

"Hello" Kenyatta said

"Why are you here?"

"I wanted to come see you, we have to talk"

"Is mom and Jay okay?"

"Yeah"

"Okay bye" I started to close the door, but she stopped me.

"Hold on, please let me come in. I just want to talk. I need my big sister. I need to talk to you Ken. Please"

I looked down at the ground and opened the door wide enough so she can come in. She looked around the apartment and sat down on the couch. I sat next to her and she fiddled with her hands.

"What's wrong, you pregnant by Dario or somethin'?"

"Hell no! I just wanted to talk to you"

"About what"

She looked at me "Kendra, for these past few months, I've been feeling so ashamed, karma has been hitting me good too. It's like everything is going wrong. I told mom what I did, cause I felt guilty and she beat my ass too"

"That's what you get" I laughed "Did you stop talkin to Dar?"

"Yes I been stop talkin to him. All he wanted me for was sex."

"Now do you see where bein hoe get you. Just because you slept with my man doesn't mean he wanted you. You kind of hurt yourself more than you hurted me. Cause you looked like a slut"

"I know, I feel like one still. But I'm young, I'm gonna make mistakes. That was the biggest one I made so far. I didn't mean to hurt you, but I've been liking him since I was 14, I just got carried away"

"You liked him?"

"Yeah, he was cute back then, he still kinda is" she smiled "But fuck him, I came to talk about us. Kendra I know it's gonna be hard to forgive me, but I want my sister back. I need you back"

"Don't worry you got my forgiveness, but it's gonna take a while for me to ever trust you. You really dissapointed me." I shook my head

"You betrayed me Ya-Ya, and it still hurts so much." I wiped a tear away before it could fall

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Kendra I know I'm a horrible sister. But I'll make it up to you. I'll do whatever it takes. I just want my sister and bestfriend back."

"I really should say no, but I'm not gonna let Dario hoe ass come between me and my baby sister. I can let it go"

She hugged me real tight "Oh my God, I love you! You forgive me even after how I stupid I was!"

"Don't pull nothing like that anymore, or I will beat your ass so bad, worse than I did the last time"

She held both my hands and looked into my eyes "Kendi, I promise I will never hurt you again. Thankyou for not allowing this to break us apart"

I hugged her "I love you girl"

"I love you more big sis"

"I'm serious Ya-Ya, fool me once shame on you but fool me twice shame on me. And if you fool me twice imma beat that ass"
