There's this guy in my grade named Alex. I've liked him for as long as I remembered and me and him teased eachother a lot but sometimes he could just get annoying you know?
Anyways I'm at lunch right now with Taylor to my left and Alex to my right, Anna across from Alex and Jake her boyfriend to her right.
It was like this everyday but today was fmdfferent because everything and everyone was just annoying me.
I'm usually a nice and happy person but every one has their days right?
But Alex had his hand on my thigh and I was just annoyed that he was in my space so I flicked his hand to get it off of me.
He gave me a confused look but I just shook my head and turned away.
Taylor noticed me being uncomfortable and he kind of signaled to me asking if I wanted to leave, I nodded my head yes and got up without saying anything.
Alex tried to grab my hand and said "Where are you going?"
I pulled my hand away and just kept walking out to the quad area.
Once we got outside of the cafeteria Taylor turned to me and said "What's up with you today?"
"I'm gonna vent to you right now so just don't interrupt or say anything until I'm done okay?"
"Alright kid, just tell me what's on your mind." He said as we sat down at our usual spot under the biggest tree at our school.
"Okay so I like Alex and I love messing around with him but he flirts with like everything that breathes and its just annoying when he acts like he cares about me or whatever.
It's just really annoying because I want to call him mine. And sometimes he'll hit me too hard when we're playing and he won't even say sorry! Like what kind of guy does that? And then he'll get mad at me for hitting him too hard just because he has a bruise from football? What about me? He thinks it doesn't hurt physically and emotionally when he hits me too hard? I'm just done."
I finish my rant with a sigh as I just look out towards the field.
" Here's what I think, maybe you should just take a break from him for a while because it's obvious that he's hurting you and as your best friend hit hurts me to see you hurt. So either talk to him about how you feel or just try to get over him and go back to thinking of him as a friend. " He said as he puts his arm around me and started rubbing my arm.
"It's just that.. I want to know if he likes me back or not. I don't want to be going after something I'll never get."
"It's alright to not know what to do. Let's just go back with them for a while okay? And we'll see how he reacts to you leaving like you did." He said standing up and holding out his hand for him to help me up.
I gave him a small smile and as he helped me up I just silently agreed but before we walked away I pulled him into a hug and said, "Thank god you're my best friend, I have no idea what I would do without you."
He wraps his hand around my waist and places his lips on my forehead giving me a slight peck before releasing and saying "I will always be here for you remember that okay?"
"Okay Taylor." I say as I unwrap my arms from his neck and we start walking away from the tree back to where everyone was at, at the main area of the quad.
Alex was the first to see us and points us out to Jake and Anna.
Jakes sees us and smirks and says something in Anna's ear and once he was finished she started laughing very loudly.
As we get to them Jake smirks and says "Did you get laid taylor?"
"What the fuck man? She's my best friend not my girlfriend chill." He says chuckling while shaking his head.
"That's really gross" I say while shaking my head.
Alex comes over to me and starts to slightly punch me on my arm and I say "Dude can you fucking stop with that?"
He gives me another confused look and backs away with hands up and says, "Jeez someone is PMSing"
I look to Taylor as he's talking with Jake and Anna and he makes eye contact to me and I guess he senses that something is wrong so he comes over to me.
He says, "What happened?"
"He just keeps hitting me and just so annoying"
He nods his head and as he's slowly walking backwards he says "I got you"
He walks towards Alex and keeps calling his name to him and once he gets his attention and says, "So I've heard that you keep hitting people" Alex just says, "what the hell are you talking about?" and as a look of realization comes over him he turns to me and I'm trying to hide a smirk.
Taylor just tells him "Well if you keep hurting that person I'll just make your life a living hell" with a serious look on his face.
Alex just responds with "My life is already a living hell"
"Then I'll just make it worse," Taylor says with a shrug.
"fuck off dude" Alex says but I can see that he looks a little scared.
"I'm serious, stop hurting her" Taylor says and walks back towards me.
I put my hand in a fist and hold it out for him to give him a fist bump. He bumps his fist with me and we act like its an explosion.
"Thank you so much Taylor," I say with a huge smile on my face.
"Like I said, I will always be here for you," He says with probably the same sized smile.
"Yeah.. I know."

I got the idea for this imagine from a personal experience lol. My best friend did this for me and I swear it was the best thing I've ever seen bc the look on my crush's face was hilarious. He was so scared but acted like a bad ass. Anyways have a nice day/night wherever your at. ♡
