Cousin Love?

Chapter 1:

I wake up very early on Friday August 07,2015 so I can get ready to go to North Carolina.

I was planning to go to North Carolina for a month now since my cousin is getting married tomorrow and I wanted to go since they are both very nice and sweet to me.

We went driving for 12 hours and only made 2 stops, both stops for gasoline and only one of them for food.

We arrived at North Carolina at around 8 o'clock in the afternoon.

We arrived at the hotel around 8:30 and just left our stuff in our room and then left to go to Naomi's house.

Once we got there Naomi wasn't there, only her husband and Esther.

We went inside and Esther right away told us to eat. At first, my mom and I decided not to eat yet. We were talking for a bit and then we actually got hungry. Esther told us there was meat, rice, beans, and chicken.

I ate meat and rice and two tortillas. While I was eating, Naomi came in with her daughter and son. A tall girl came and right away hugged my mom.

Then, she came up to me and hugged me and started talking to me as if we have known each other for a long time.

She said her name was America and I told her my name was Emmely.

We started talking and while talking I found out she had two little sisters.

She was very nice and friendly. We were talking for some time that we both finished eating and that's when a lady came in and Manuel came and then this really cute guy came in.

"Mom, who are these people?"

"That's your cousin Ana and Manuel's mom, and that's his brother Zahir."

"Okay..." I said, but I was still very confused on who they actually were. I was wondering if they're actually real family or if they are just "family" because my mom used to know them in Mexico.

I saw Zahir and he was looking for his phone and while looking for his phone he looked at me and smiled.

I smiled back.

I did it because I thought we were family and because I don't want him to think I don't have manners or that I'm just mean or something like that.

"Go try on the suit and pants I brought you." Ana said to Zahir.

"Why can't I do it tomorrow?" Zahir whined.

Ana just stared at him with the glare that meant do it or else.

Zahir went to the bathroom and changed to the suit, but the pants were too long.

 "Just cut them tomorrow." My mom told Ana.

"Yeah." Ana said as she saw that my mom was right.

"Do I have to change into it to?"Manuel asked.

"No you don't." Ana said and Manuel started smiling like crazy because he really didn't want to put the suit on just yet. 

My family and I stayed at Naomi's house for a long time and it was around midnight when we were leaving her house.

Before we left I saw Zahir take a long glance at me.

We drove for around 5 minutes and got to our hotel, named "Sleep Inn" and went to our room, which was number 221.

"Goodnight." I said.

"Goodnight." Bethzy my little sister said.

"Goodnight." My parents said.

After that we went to sleep.
