Chapter 25 : Vas Happenin'?

*Niall's P.O.V.*

The continuous bleeding of Pranshula's finger is making me sick. What the hell is happening? Why can't it stop bleeding? She has lost so much blood and now it's scaring me to death.

I decided to go home immediately. But as soon as I stood up, the clouds growled and blinded us with a flash of bright light.

Following, that horrendous book started to flip on its own and a moment later a certain page opened.

I just couldn't believe my eyes. How did this happen? How can a book flip on its own? I know that the pages of a book can flip if the wind is blowing and yes, wind is blowing, but it did not look that it is the wind which made it flip and stop at a certain page. It looks as if an external force did it.

I need to be strong. I can't freak out in front of everyone, specially in this situation, when some of them are freaking.

I took a deep breath and reminded myself that I need to be strong. But the next thing which happened made me feel nauseous. It scared the shit out of me.

Standing there dumbfounded, I just stared at the cloudy appearance of a woman, floating in the air, listening to her words. As soon as the inhumanely figure started speaking, the book, Euplectella, started updating itself. The words which the woman spoke started writing on the page of the book on its own, without any person writing and even without a pen or anything else.

I started feeling dizzy at sight of this. How is book updating itself? How is all of this shit happening? This is surely an illusion. I must be dreaming. This isn't real. It's just a nightmare. Soon I'll wake up. Someone wake me up! I mentally screamed.

If this is any prank of Louis, then I am gonna kill him for this. I sneaked a peak at Louis. He was shaking with fear. Harshita was clinging to her and he was holding on to her, soothing her.

I don't think that this is any prank of Louis. He is just as scared as me.

"I am feeling a little dizzy, Nialler. I think that I am gonna faint anytime." Pranshula whispered, leaning onto me, shutting her eyelids.

As soon as the inhumanly woman started to speak, the book started updating.

Her voice. Her voice is not normal. It's different. It is actually very enchanting. But it is making me feel dizzy too. Pranshula is literally drooling. She is sleepy. My eyelids too, feel heavy. But I am trying to stay awake.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Pranshula and Harshita starting to faint.

Before Pranshula could hit the ground, I caught her and I think, Louis caught Harshita. I sprinkled water over face, to wake her up.
