I got off the bus and went upstairs to my bedroom. My Mom was still at work, and my Dad died in a Car accident two years ago. I'm also an only child, so I was alone at my house. I heard the doorbell ring, and I went to go answer the door. I open the door to see Trevor standing there. "Oh, hey Sarah, right?" He says nervously. "Yes, it's Sarah. What are you doing here exactly?" I ask, shyly. I hate talking to people that I don't really know. Especially if it's a boy. I'm used to talking to girls, not boys. I've never had a friend boy either. "I moved here from Texas and I live across the street, and my Dad wanted me to go around and see who my neighbors were." He says. "Oh, um okay. Well, you know me already...so um." I say, getting confused on what to say. "You sound confused." He laughs. That's probably because I am, idiot. I know he's not an idiot, but I call everyone and idiot. "Yea..sorry. I'm just a little shy." I say, not making eye contact. He laughs again and says "There's no need to be sorry, I guess I'll go now. It was nice to see you again, Sarah. Maybe next time I could meet your parents, what time do they get off work?" Noo, don't you dare ever come near my house again! " Yea, um okay. My Mom gets off around 5:00pm." I smile. Why did I smile? "Okay, bye Sarah." He walks away, and crosses the road. I wait till he's on the other side of the road till I walk inside, just in case.
I woke up the next day and got dressed. I was wearing a blue shirt and some black skinny jeans, there's a peperally at School today, and my School colors are black and blue. Just my luck, because those are my two favorite colors.
Once I was at School, I went to first period, it was pretty boring. Trevor sat beside Hannah. I thought he was cool, but I guess he's just a popular jerk like all the other boys at this School.
I was walking to third period, which was Literature with Mr.Hons, On my way, Trevor stopped me. What does he want? "Hey Sarah." He says, smiling. Creep, get away from me. "Uh, hey." I say, looking at my fingernails. "What's your next class?" He asks. None of your business. "Literature, why?" My voice comes out low and soft. Seriously voice? Why can't I just sound normal for one stupid second of my tortured pathetic life? "That's my next class too! Would it be okay if I walked with you, I'm still learning where everything is at this School." Great, just perfect. "Of course, follow me." I say, smiling. I don't want to be rude, he's new. "Thanks." we walk to class, thankfully he doesn't sit near me. He chose to sit with Justin, an annoying know it all.I was sitting on the bus listening to music through my ear buds, and waiting for the bus to actually leave School grounds till I turned my volume up, then Trevor patted my shoulder. Ugh, what do you want now? I remove my ear buds from my ears and look at him. "Can I sit with you?" He asks. God no. "Uh, sure." I scoot over in my seat and put my ear buds back in. Five minutes later I had my volume to the max and Trevor taped on my shoulder again."Yes?" I ask, annoyed. "Your music's annoying, I can hear it." Deal with it, you didn't have to sit with me. "Oh, sorry. I'll turn it down." I turn it down, just a little. "I can still hear it." He says. "For God sake, Trevor." I say and snatch my ear buds out, I give him one end of them and put the other in my ear, and turn the volume back up. When it was my turn to get off, I got my ear buds from Trevor and put my phone in my bag. "Bye Sarah." He smiles at me and waves goodbye. "Bye." I murmur.
Hopefully tomorrow he'll leave me alone.Sorry it's kind of a short chapter.
