I froze. Well, frick.
I turned my head slowly to my right, my arms crossed in front of me.
"I...I'm Becca."
I looked at the person to see sunglasses. Shark.
I heard some struggles from outside the room. RACHEL.
I momentarily forgot about Shark and started towards him since he was in front of the doorway.
"Whoa, Becca, what do you think you're doing?" He asked nervously, backing up at the same pace I was walking forward.
"Umm...that's my little sister out there, Sha---dude."
Can't let them know yet.
"Well, drop your weapons and put your hands above your head."
I sighed quietly and pulled my katana off my back. I took my backpack off and stored my katana in there.
With hands above my head, I followed Shark out.
The sight we came upon was definitely one for the books. (See what I did there? xD)
Rachel kept swinging her bat at Ghetto and AK, and Nick was just standing there with a 'what-the-heck' face.
I laughed a little at the circumstance.
"Rachel, calm down, crazy! These guys are the 'them' I was talking about!"
Rachel looked over at me. "Oh." She blushed slightly.
She put her bat on her back and walked over to me, hiding behind me like the little kid she was.
I put my arms around her and giggled. "Little Rachel standing up for herself. Heh, that'll be a story to tell! ...if we ever get home, of course." I added.
I looked up to see the gang looking at each other in confusion.
Nick walked towards us a little. "How in the world do you know us?"
I pursed my lips. "That's...a bit of a story there."
"Explain." Nick ordered. So I told them basically the whole story that you're reading from beginning to here. Oh wait. That's the author's job. Oops.

So long, farewell, avederzane adieu. Goodbye, fourth wall, I never really liked you.
Becca
(Probably the most I'm gonna change a chapter. xD Also, sorry for the shortedness. I'm in a bit of a rush for a trip that dad won't tell me about. -_- I'll get 'round to editing the other chapters to be more correct in nature when I get back, which'll probably be by Wednesday. Can't believe the 1-year-anniversary of this book is coming up. Think it's the end of August or beginning of September. I don't remember, lol.)
