Becca's POV (during helicopter ride back to DC)
I sighed, trying to keep my spirits up. The LAST thing anyone in the copter needed was a maniacal girl trying to push everyone out the copter door and/or just trying to kill everyone. Don't think like that. Think about...how the gang will be OK. They're safe. I'm safe.
I wouldn't kill everyone. Well, I might kill that dude with the glasses and amulet. He flipping whacked me upside the head.
I grinned, and then I started laughing. Everyone, besides AK, who was flying the copter, was looking at me crazy. I smirked at Sky. "Did you whack Becky upside the head?" He smiled sheepishly. "Uhh...yeah.... I mean, she WAS trying to hurt me and take me to Red." I laughed again. "You deserved that, Becky!"
...I hate you and that Sky dude so much right now.
I just smirked. "The feeling's mutual, girl. Mutual as it could ever be...." Everyone but Sky and AK was looking at me crazy again. "Just talking aloud. Becky hates you, Sky." He raised an eyebrow. "You can talk to them?" "Yeah...I can...they can get annoying, though. Becky's just evil and Rebekitah...I don't even know."
I suppose I'm the creepily calm one who is still evil. Just not as much as Becky.
"OK...Rebekitah is, and I quote, 'the creepily calm one who is still evil. Just not as much as Becky.'" I shrugged. "Whatever THAT means."
Suddenly, AK whooped. "White house in sight!" I grinned, and then...I got a little depressed. Not enough to let the egos out, though, thankfully. "How am I supposed to get back home? Red still has my phone, and I don't even know if that would've worked anyways." Nick came and sat next to me, hugging me. "We'll find a way, Becca. We don't have very advanced tech for...OBVIOUS reasons...but somehow, you'll get home."
"Thank you." I whispered as AK set the copter down on the roof of the White House.
I hopped out and stretched, wincing as my back popped. I hated the sound of bones popping. It's disturbing.
I ran to the side of the White House and jumped down the ladder. "Come on, guys! I wanna go meet Jin!" Faintly, I heard them all chuckle. "Wait up, Becca!" Jess called. Thinking about Jess...I hope she forgave me....
**TIME SKIP OF MINISCULE PROPORTIONS**
I ran down the stairs to the bunker where Nick and the others stayed. I don't know why, but I was feeling really giddy. I ran up to the giant door and banged on it. "Little Jin, Little Jin, let us in!" I laughed. The bunker slowly rose up. I ducked under the door the moment I had enough room to. Jin jumped back in surprise. "Wha...who are you?" "I'm Becca!"
Finally, the door lifted up enough for everyone else to walk in, slightly out of breath. Ghetto smirked. "Yeesh, Becca. You've got enough energy to keep us all runnin' for at least a few days." I giggled. "This is the real me, when I'm not buried under situations of cannibals and stuff." Jin looked really confused. "What...exactly happened...?" Nick sighed. "LONG story. I think we need to just rest for, like, a few weeks." He spoke, chuckling.
I frowned. "I'm not tired for some reason. Oh well." I turned towards Jin. "I'm from another dimension. SURPRISE!" Everyone rolled their eyes, smirking, while Jin was staring at me, looking extremely confused. "Well...that was very sudden and very straightforward." I grinned like a maniac and ran to the laboratory to check out the cool things. But then...I felt a strange tugging sensation. Like...something was coming for me....
*SWOOSH* I yelped and jumped back from a portal that randomly appeared on the wall. I frowned. "Real subtle, author. REAL subtle."
...you just HAD to break the fourth wall when we're so close to finishing the story.... What exactly do you want me to type?
P-body from Portal 2 came into the bunker, whirring about something. She shot the wall next to me, opening a portal, and ran off...somewhere.
Better?
"...No. I like the other version better."
Good. Now please leave the fourth wall alone. *mutters to self* And I just freaking fixed it....
*SWOOSH* I yelped and jumped back from a portal that randomly appeared on the wall. The freak? I looked back at everyone else who was just staring at the portal in shock.
Jin walked over and tried to touch the portal, but it was like it wasn't there, meaning his hand basically hit the wall. "What is this...." He muttered. I walked forward and tried to touch it. My hand went into the portal and I yelped, jumping back.
I then laughed happily. "It's my way home!" But then...I realized that I was leaving people that I knew but at the same time, didn't. I walked back over to the gang and rubbed the back of my head. "I guess this is goodbye...." Shark smirked. "I have a strong feeling that we'll see you again, somehow."
Shark...are you seriously breaking the fourth wall...?
He frowned. "What do you mean? Wait, who are you?" The voice didn't answer. I chuckled. "I sure hope so, Shark. I really hope so...." I hugged everyone and walked to the portal.
There's no place like home.... I walked into the portal and darkness enveloped me.
Red's POV (You thought I was going to end the chapter there xD)
I twirled my gun on my finger, thinking. I shouldn't underestimate Becca again. If I even see her again. I then chuckled and thought about the info that Rebekitah gave me. But I'll sure as heck see Nick and his friends again. Maybe I'll even find this Ross and.... I pulled Becca's phone from my pocket. Maybe he could.... Just maybe....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How's that for a next-to-last chapter? Yeah...I suck at prolonging books. What do you think Red's talking about? I wanna hear some thoughts. :D
