"The Simple Things"

Times have changed,
People are so busy, always have somewhere to go or people to see.
They don't always take time to enjoy life,
If they would just slow down and look around,
A lot might be surprised at how beautiful life can be.
Life is more expensive than it used to be,
People need more money, always more.
But life's not all about where you live, what kind of job you have or how much money's in the bank.
It's about time spent with family and friends.
Loving each other as God loves us.
The simple things in life like laughing at stupid jokes and just making memories.
Time spent enjoying each other's company and the world around us.
So while living expenses are important,
They sometimes need to take a back seat.
So amidst all the chaos of this world,
Take time to slow down where possible,
And enjoy the simple things.
