The video finished and before i even realised, i was turning in my camera and pressing record.
"Hi, my name is detroit dallas. My favourite food is grapes. Yes grapes. I mean who doesn't love grapes? They're just so cute and squishy and pretty oooh and theres always the one thats tiny and is like the size of a pea and its just sooooo adorable. And they taste great too, especially the red ones, they are so juicey...i love me some juice *wink*. So umm yeh.....thats ma favourite food. Bye"

*The next day*
I woke up and got dressed for school. I wore my black school blazer, white shirt, black tights and skater skirt, and my black shoes. It was october and i have only been back at school for a month, i was constantly getting told off for my blue hair as it was 'against the school dress code'. But after a few weeks everyone gave up and realaized that the blue was permenant.
I left for school
Shool was going antagonizingly slow, it was currently 3rd period and i had been checking my twitter every hour incase i had won the contest.
It was time for me to check my twitter once again. I opened it up, hiding my phone under the table, and opened my DMs.
I was expecting to see the same thing as earlier, no new messages. This time was didfferent.
1 new message. I could feel my heart beat raising as i clicked on the message.
5 Seconds of Summer
Hi, its 5sos! We looked at you're video and we love your exthusiasm for grapes, therefore we have chosen YOU! To come on tour with us! DM us as soon as possible and we will send you the details.....Bye!!!
I couldn't hold in my excitment. I screamed! I screamed in the middle of science class and i dont even care, i was going on tour with 5sos and nothing could bring me down!
A few moments later i realised that my phone was no-longer in my hand, it was now in my best friends hand who was staring at me and my phone in disbelief!
"Oh. My. God. Youre going on tour with 5 seconds of freakin summer!" She said, but it came out more as a whisper. This then caused the whole class to erupt into a chorus of screams and "Whats????"
The teacher asked everyone to be quiet before asking me what happened.
I explained to her the situation. She congratulated me before reminding me that there is still another 3 hours of school left. She did let me reply to the DM though.
I went home and told cameron and my parents who just congratulated me and talked about the details with me.
I would need to text them at least once a day and i would be doing online school so i didnt get behind on my grades.
We agreed on everything.
I got another messages from 5sos saying that we would be leaving for tour on wednesday. It was currently friday.
I went and packed all of my things over the weekend, while monday and tuesday was filled with saying goodbye to my friends and family!
