Fan Meets Fame (5SOS M.C)

Performing

Knock knock.

Derek walked in as ashton opened the door,
"Uh morning guys, you've got 20 minutes and then were going to soundcheck!" He said before leaving again.
The boys all walked around and collected everything they needed before we went to the lobby. Once again there was about 200 fans waiting outside the hotel, the boys waved and we got into the van.
I was sat inbetween luke and ashton, michael was across from me with calum on his left.
"So at soundcheck there will be about 20 fans, we will perform a few songs and then they will ask some questions....then they will leave and we will just carry on with soundcheck for a while, but after that we will just chill in one of the rooms backstage," ashton explained to me, i nodded and smiled. I was so excited, ive never seen 5sos at a concert so seeing them perform live, up close will be amazing!
We put on some music and all four boys screamed the lyrics...

"Are you insane like me," i froze for a second, thinking about weather or not to sing along, it is my favorite halsey song...."been in pain like me bought a hundred dollar bottle of champange like me just to pour it down the mothafucking drain like me..." i sang along quietly, but somehow loud enough for the boys to hear.
They all stopped and looked at me smiling. It was kinda creepy.
"You're good and you like halsey, wow." Calum said suprised at my vocals and my music taste.
"Uh.....thanks?" I replied, not knowing wether to take this as insult or compliment?
"Sorry, that came across rude, its a compliment,"calum replied, clearly noticing my confusion.
I smiled and laughed.
A few songs later we arrived at the areana. We walked through the doors and i was amazed. It was huge, there were chairs all around and two more levels above me. I looked forward and saw the stage about 500 meters ahead, it looked tiny compared the size of the areana. As i was taking in the space calum started to speak.

"Its amazing isnt it? We get to play in areanas like this almost every night, to thousands of people who are all here for our music, and to think that this is only a fraction of the people all around the world that listen to our music is unreal. You know, when we were practising in ashtons garage, i would close my eyes and pretend that we were in an areana just like this and i would say to myself, one day, even if its 20 years from now, i will play to people all around the world and i will love every minute of it. And the only thing thats changed since then is that i no longer have to pretend, becausing im living my dream, and its all because of the fans. Because without them, i wou- we would be no where. They have helped me and all the guys through tough times, when people didnt like us, or when we did stupid things. They stuck by us. And i will forever owe them for that. Thats why i will play concerts like this untill i can no longer sing, because even a life time of concerts and shows, will never truly show how grateful we are for everything that they have done."

By this point i was crying, people always say that calum doesnt appreciate his fans, but they have just never heard the thoughts in his head.

"Youre an amazing person, all of you are. And we should be the ones that are forever grateful," i replied still crying, and hugged him tight. I soon felt another pair of arms join, and another, and another. And i was enclosed in a 5 Seconds Of Summer group hug, i couldn't be happier.

After a few minutes of hugging, we all headed down to the stage and we climbed up. The stage was alot bigger than i thought. It was long and had a catwalk thingy that went into the crowd and there was also a platform at the back with a drumkit sat there.

The boys gave me a tour of the building and showed me the dressing room we would be in before they perform. About 20 minutes later we all went to the stage to begin the souncheck.
When we arrived the boys played 'Never Be' and 'Amnesia'. About thirty minutes after that, the VIP fans were let in.
The boys played 'Jet Black Heart', 'Shes Kinda Hot' and 'Money'. After that they answered some questions and just chatted with the fans. About 30 minutes later all the fans left and they carried on with sound check.
