'Knock knock' I knock on Mrs Gormely's door waiting for her to come and yell 'hello sweety' and shower me in cuddles and I guarantee that's exactly what's going to happen.

"Hello sweety" shouts a happy, exited voice and before I know it, I am wrapped around Mrs Gormely's warm arms. Before we head inside, Prince takes the lead jumping on the counter and taking a snooze as cats do.

I look at the dark blue chair with four wooden legs looking as if they are going to snap, so instead of sitting their, I choose the comfy looking green sofa, the safer option. While I sit, I can't help it wonder what my present is, so my eyes search around the house anxiously looking for a potential gift for a 15 year old girl but nothing yells out PRESENT, so I just give up and wait for Mrs. Gormely to announce what it is.

"So, have you had a start to your birthday? " she asked politely.
"Well, I guess it has been alright" I reply anxiously
"Okay, Well I will put you out of your misery, I will show you to your present, follow me."

I get up out of my chair. Alright, fine, I jump out of my chair and race towards Mrs. Gormley but when she looks, I act causal as if I couldn't care less, which is not true at all.
We walk out onto the veranda and... OMG

"Here you are sweety, here's your birthday present"
I cannot believe my freaking eyes right now, I have so many questions like, Why would someone like Mrs. Gormely spend this much money on someone like me? When can I use it? Does it work properly? Are my eyes working properly right now? Did I miss an eye appointment? Has Mrs. Gormely really given me a whole FREAKING SAIL BOAT for my birthday?

"Hope? do you not like it? I thought you would love owning your own sail boat considering you love sailing"

That's right ears, you heard her, I own my own sail boat from now on.

"What? no, of course I love it, It looks amazing!" I reply to her as I start jumping up and down with joy.

"Well then, feel free to have a closer look, it is yours now after all" and as soon as she finishes her sentence, I race up to the stairs and trot down each and every step as fast as I can and the closer I get to the ground, the more curiosity I am filled with towards the boats appearance.

I reach to the part of which my boat is docked and softly touch my hand onto the side of my sail boat. I notice more detail of the boats outside appearance I did the first time I looked at it. It has strikes of black and blue running down the side while the rest of the boat is white. As I merge to the front of the boat, the name of the ship is revealed as 'Liberty strike' which is an unusual name in someone else's perspective, but to me, it fits perfectly into why I love sailing. I love sailing because it gives me freedom from everything else that happens on land.

I step onto the boat and head inside and suddenly I feel a strong sense of deja vu, it's like I've been here before.

"You know, I don't mean to ruin the thought of receiving a new boat that no ones ever used before but... this was your fathers boat, he always used to bring you out onto the water, you loved it." Mrs. Gormely suddenly explains softly into my ear. That definitely explains the deja vu.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything..." She says as she starts to walk away.

"No, wait, I'm glad you told me. Mrs. Gormely, could you do me a favour?" I ask

"Of course"

"Will you tell me everything you know about my parents?" I ask desperately, she's my only hope of ever knowing anything about my parents.

"Oh Hope, when you said favour, I didn't think you meant this"

"Please Mrs. Gormely, I really need to know"
