Maria's POV
Today I have a idea. Everyone here is always on electronics. So I'm going to turn the wifi and power off. Tell them it's a power outage. Then I'll give them the glow in the dark things I've gotten. Shirts and flags. Capture the flag in the dark! I'm really excited.
**later that day**
Everyone is home. Except Maddie. She is spending the night at someone's house. The guys are watching football and Lexi, Kaylin, and Rose are playing a game on there tablets. Anthony and Cole are playing mine craft. Every now and then we hear them screaming "DIE ZOMBIE DIE" Pay, Morgan, and Del are on Pinterest I think. El is helping me with the plan. No one would expect it.
"Ready?" I ask.
"Yep."
He turns off the power and I hear the guys groaning. Then I turn the wifi off. I hear the kids and girls groaning too. I quickly run out there and say
"The power and wifi went out! The entire neighborhood!"
"What are we going to do mommy? I'm scared!" I hear Lexi crying out.
"BOYS GET UP HERE!" I hear them running up the stairs and them pushing each other. "Since the power and wifi went out, I have an idea."
I hear Rocky mutter "almost never a good thing."
"Heard that Rocky." He looks up surprised and scared. "It's true though so it's ok." His face relaxes.
"Anyway I have glow in the dark things. Shirts and flags. So let's play glow in the dark capture the flag!" I say with a wide smile. Everyone looks at each other and start nodding the heads.
I hear a lot of "oks" and "sounds like fun"
"So we good with this?" Everyone nods except Kaylin.
"What's capture the flag?" She asked.
"Whoever is on you team can explain. Now we need team captains. How about me and El." Everyone else says ok.
"Great. El you go first."
"Ok Rydel."
"Rocky"
"Rose"
"Cole"
"Riker"
"Lexi"
"Morgan"
"Pay"
"Anthony"
"Ross"
"Well it's left to Kaylin." Ell says.
"I pick her." I say.
"No fair she is like the toughest kid ever."
"Hhhhheeeeeyyyyyyy I'm tougher than Kaylin." Cole said.
"Um yea um sorry I forgot you were there." Ell said.
Then we set up the game.
