The next week i started to fall into a routine. Josh would pick beth, Hannah, and i up from school, I'd go to work, then go to school again. Josh had given me his number in case i ever needed a ride.

*flash back*

I waved back at hannah and beth as i walked from the car into my house when all of the sudden i felt a light tap on my shoulder as i went to open the door making me jump.

"Shit sorry alex" he chuckled with a small nervous smirk. "I just wanted to give you my number real quick, if you ever need a ride somewhere, time doesnt matter to me call if you need me" he said smiling making me blush slightly and i heard giggling coming from the car making josh shift on his feet and it made me giggle. I smiled at him "thanks josh, i appreciate it" i told him honestly. He smiled and waved while walking back to the car.

I smiled at the memory and quickly shook it off. He's just a nice guy, and he appreciates how i am to the girls, nothing more than that, i reminded myself. Anyway, it was finally friday and i didn't have to work today since i ended up working a lot this week. Janet, my boss, told me i needed a day off, i told her i was available if she needed anything but she shook her head with a smile and told me to catch up on some rest. Hannah was ecstatic by the news. They knew my mother was out of town and wanted to have a hangout. I wasn't really a fan of people coming into my house, probably because i've never really had people to invite over. But Between Beth and Hannah's puppy eyes how could i say no? They knew i couldn't say no to them, and they didn't take it lightly.

"alright guys since it is my house can i atleast know what you guys are planning?" i asked with a raised brow.

Hannah clapped her hands excitedly, "alright well it was just gonna be Beth, Ashley and I but, then we felt bad because we don't want to leave Josh alone all night. But then we don't want josh to feel like the only guy so he's gonna bring some friends and stuff" Hannah said slyly.

Beth smiled warmly "don't worry alex, we're not gonna trash your place or throw some huge party. Just a small get together with friends. Are the plans alright with you? if not just tell us and we can fix it"Beth assured me.

I bit my lip slightly nervous at the amount of people coming to my house but shoved it back. I needed to get over it, these were my friends. i nodded at the twins " nah it sounds good, just don't trash my place" i said and they both broke out into smiles.

"alright so after school we will come to your house and help you get ready and for us to get ready, ashley is going to get food, Josh is bringing the beverages" Beth announced.

I raised my brow, "what do you mean 'get me ready?" i asked suspicious.

The girls only shared a smirk and went back to eating lunch.

It only took 25 minutes to walk home with the girls, but they complained that that was crazy. On the walk Hannah mentioned she wished we should have invited the rest of the friend group, like Mike. Beth and I both sighed at the mention of Mike, Beth then mentioned how emily would have bitched the whole time which would have made the party suck and hannah agreed looking away, she seems to forget that Mike and Emily are together a lot. I have to admit, it hurts my heart more than anything. Even if Mike was single he wouldn't be good for Hannah, he's a player.

I let the girls into the house and they gasped slightly, "we were expecting to need to help you get ready, but it's so neat and spotless. It looks like it's straight out of a magazine" Beth gasped.

I shrugged "my mom doesn't actually want to spend time shopping, she orders it straight out of magazines or hires people" I said kind of sad. I shook off my thoughts and offered them my usual smile "i'll show you to my room and we'll get ready yeah?" i asked leading them upstairs to my room. I lead them into my bathroom and opened my closet.
