Troye was sitting at his desk, his room dark with the only source of light being his lamp. Tonight he was feeling more homesick than he's ever been, tears coming and going as he scribbled lyrics down into his notebook. Troye missed his family, Connor, and everyone who was important to him.
Troye constantly looked out his window, imagining all of the people he loved there with him at this very moment, telling him that they were there, and he couldn't help but let another sob leave his mouth. He wasn't aware of what was happening, how all of the sudden the realization that the people he loved were miles away from where he was hit him harder than it ever has.
The same image played over and over in his head. He was laying in bed, his mother tickling his arm, making him feel safe."I love you so much,Tok."
He heard his mother's soothing voice in his mind, wanting more than anything for her to be next to him.Troye began to scribble down verses, thinking about the long phone calls that he and his mother shared. Laurelle unable to calm her worries about Troye, continuously asking if Troye was doing well.
Troye spilled his heart out onto the paper, his heart aching as he read them. He couldn't stop the feeling, nor could he decrease the size of the feeling either. He then thought about Connor, thinking back to the last time they saw each other. His fingers tracing his spine, his green, fiery eyes locking with Troye's blue. His hand brushing against Troye's face, his heart racing. Their intertwined fingers, loosely tangled legs. Troye wanted to be back to that day again. He wanted to be back with Connor again. He just wanted one more day to be with him, and maybe, just maybe, he wouldn't be in this state.
Troye had enough. He couldn't take it anymore, so he did the one thing he knew he had to. He picked up his phone and called Connor, hoping that he would pick up this early in the day.
After a few rings, Connor's infamous tired voice came through the phone."Hey Troye, what's up," he said, hints of sleep still in voice. Troye wiped the tear in his eye, composing himself before he spoke. "I just miss you. I miss you so much, Con," Troye said, feeling the tears coming back to his eyes. "Oh Troye," Connor said while rubbing his eye, "I miss you too, babe. But I promise we'll see each other before you know it."
Troye knew. He knew it wouldn't be long. He knew that their "long distance relationship" wasn't very long distance at all. He knew that he and Connor aren't able to be apart for very long. He knew that their distance and made his heart fonder. He knew that.
Troye's thoughts brought a smile to his face, causing to forget that Connor was still on the phone. He heard Connor snoring, making him smile even bigger. He ended the call, returning to his writing, no longer thinking about the distance between him and Connor, but the day of when he knows he'll see Connor again.
