Troye was scared to ever love again
He didn't want to go through how he knew it would end
All of the past lovers that broke him before
He was scared to find someone who would break him even more
He didn't want to open his heart to anyone else
So he bottled all his feelings and kept to himself
But then one day, a boy took him by surprise
A boy with brown hair and light green eyes
Troye promised himself that he wouldn't do it again
He promised himself that he wouldn't fall
But little did Troye know that in the end
Connor was what he needed after all
The moment they met their friendship soared
Both oblivious to the fact that they were something more
The stolen glances and the feeling of his touch
The two couldn't believe that they could fall this much
Troye was scared, more scared than he was
He tried to push his feelings away, like he always does
Little did he know, Connor was scared too
Neither did he want to fall in love so out of the blue
All his past lovers never gave him that spark
He always felt numb, always in the dark
Both terrified of new love, both terrified of feeling this way
Neither of them knew that they would be okay
But in the end they realized that they found their missing parts
So the two let their guard down and listened to their hearts
Now they both have found someone that they can say they truly love
They both have found a gentle hand to take hold of
They were no longer scared of what the future held
Both blindsided by a person for whom they fell
Troye no longer felt that fear in his mind
Connor found the spark he needed all this time
They have their fights, they have their laughs
They both knew they have a love that will last
Troye and Connor, an inseparable two
A two that finally gave love a new view
