Chapter 9

"Hey." A familiar voice said.

"Holy shit! You scared the fuck out of me!" I yelled.

"I can tell" Cameron said laughing.

"Its not funny, Cameron."

"Why are you so jumpy?"

"I'm not. Why are you so nosey?"

"Whatever, your late. I'm pretty sure you don't want ISD again." Cameron says walking away.

I roll my eyes and walk to counseling.

"What do you need dear?" Mrs. Kenton says.

"I need to talk to Mrs. May." I say.

"Okay Genesis, she's with someone right now, so you will have to wait. And don't forget to sign in."

"Okay." I say signing in.

"Gen, you can come in now." Mrs. May says.

"Okay." I say getting up and walking into her office.

"Whats going on, baby girl." she asks.

"Well, I went to the hospital last night and when i got back my brother through a pool party. But not for me. I didn't want to come home to a mess and so many people. I have really bad social anxiety. But i got to my room and Matthew saw my cuts. And he made me promise not to cut anymore a-and I promised my i crossed my fingers behind my back. And about 3 am-ish i cut again." i say with tears streaming down my face.

"Its okay dear." Mrs. May says hugging me.

I wipe my tears.

"Let me see them." She says.

I nod and pull up my sleeves.

"Does anyone know about these?." she asked.

"My brother Hayes found out, I don't know how." I said.

"Okay." she sighed. "Do you want me to call Matt?"

"Oh no please!" I begged. This is the last thing I want him to know!"

"You want to know something?" she asked.

I nodded.

"Beauty is in the mirror you look at everyday, enjoy your being." she said. "Its one of my favorite quotes."

"Thank you" i said hugging her.

I walked out into the hallway and the bell rang. I walked to my next class which was History. I Walked down stairs. And went to room 146. I walked down the hallway and i turned the corner to find what broke my heart into 19928838472819 pieces, Matt and Ashley kissing. The bell rang and Matt looked up at me. His eyes grew as did mine.

I shook my head and ran in the opposite direction of where he was. I ran as fast as I could and with no one in the hallway it was pretty easy.

As soon as I turn the corner I bump into Cameron. I hug him so tight and cried into his arms.

"Whats wrong baby girl?" he asked gently.

"Can we get out of here and I'll tell you then." I said.

"Okay."

Cameron drove to taco bell and just sat in the parking lot

"We left school, now talk." Cameron says grabbing my upper thigh.

"Matt was kissing Ashley." I say looking out the window.

"Gen, baby girl, you okay?" He asked.

I shook my head and kept looking put the window.

He put two of his fingers under my chin and turned my head to him.

We made eye contact; for a while. I never noticed how pretty his eyes were. And his face is very symmetrical. Hes fucking hot.

My thoughts were interrupted by his soft lips on mine. Our lips moved in perfect sync.

There was a sudden band on the drivers side window causing both of us to jump and make us break the kiss.

"Cameron I'm gunna fucking kill you!" Matt yelled pulling Cameron out of the car.

"Dont fucking touch me Espinosa!" Cam yelled.

I got pf the car and ran to the boys who were hitting each other.

"Stop it Matt!" I yelled obviously getting ignored.

"Dont-you-ever-fucking-kiss-my-fucking-girl!" Matt yelled in between punches.

I ran onto Matt's back. Trying to pull him off Cameron.

"Fucking slut get the hell off of me dumb ass Bitch." Matt said pushing me off of him.

I landed on the concrete. I got up and looked at him in surprise. I went into Cameron's car and drove away.

How can he call me his girl then say I'm a slut and stuff.

I drove to Hayes' school.

"Hey Gen. Are you okay?" He asked getting into the car. I didn't respond.

We got to the house and Nash and Taylor were there.

"Have you seen Matt and Cam?" Nash asked.

I continued to walk up stairs when Nash grabbed my arm.
"Fucking answer me Genesis!"

"Fuck! Nash i dont fucking know. And if i cared i would tell you. But i dont care so fuck off." I yelled

"Fine." He said. "Whatever floats your boat."

"Water." I yelled. "Water floats my fucking boat."

"Gen, calm your shit dumbass." Nash yelled pushing me into the wall.

"Nash stop!" Matt yelled as he came into the door.

"No! Get the fuck out." I yelled.

"But-" Matt started.

"No buts Matt. You hurt me twice remember." I said walking into my room.

"Gen, wait!" Matt yelled knocking on my door.

"Please open the door baby girl." Matt said softly.

I sighed. I walked to the door and set my hand on the doorknob. I slowly opened the door and saw Matt's big brown eyes. I looked at him and walked to my bed and crawled in.

"I'm sorry baby girl." He says getting into my bed.

I got off my bed and looked at him. "I don't want to love you anymore Matt. But I cant. And its killing me." I said.

"That means we have a special love." He said getting up and walking toward me.

"We don't have a special love. We have a complicated suicidal love." I said walking out of my room. "I'm sorry Matt."

"Gen did you?" He asked.

I looked at him with tears filling my eyes and nodded.

Sorry i haven't posted in a while i have been busy. So this chapter is kinda boring but its a filler. So thanks for reading. It has been kind of a really boring book. And i have been updating all my chapters. So i hope you at least kind of liked it.
